cant seem to get hold of any everybody saying dealer only and they have brembos for 354 at tps
They are a standard pad size and that caliper is used on loads of cars from the R8, Lambo, RS4/5 and 8v RS3 plus others.

Part number for the DS2500 is: FCP1664H (make sure you are quoted/supplied 8 pads)
Part number for Pagid 4-2 compound: E2931RS4-2
Part number for Pagid RS29 compound: E2931RS29

They are all "track" pads going in order of performance, I use the RS29 pad and it is great but roughly twice the price of DS2500, it just for street and mild track the DS2500 is all you need IMHO.

Just search for the part numbers and see who give you the best price :)

My tuppence worth: I tried Yellowstuff in my last Mercedes and found them to be very dirty. Good stopping power though. I only mention this in case you are in any way like me and does not like excess black brake dust.

EBC Red stuff seems to work well on the 8P RS3. Lots of people use them . A good street / fast road pad with little dust.
Yellow stuff pads are also good but in my experience pretty dusty.
You can get cheap EBC pads from carparts for less. Had a quick look and assuming they are the same as the RS4/RS5 which I think they are these are the pads.

They are £154.15 but you get 10% off performance parts with the FAST10 discount code so they will be around £140.
Having a quick Google I am not sure if the sensor wires on the Redstuff pads are the same as the OE RS3 pads. The EBC catalogue doesn't show any pads suitable for the front. You may have to modify the pad sensor wires if you want to use them. But most other pad options don't have sensors anyway.

I've just fitted redstuff to my 8v RS3. You need to mod the wiring on the ebc pads as they come with the wrong (male) plug.10 minute job to cut the old one off. Very impressed with the pads. No squeal and almost zero dust

Woody -have you fitted Redstuff front and back? Would you share the part numbers please?

Arcam - you gave me the p/n DP31513C above, but the chap I spoke with in EBC this morning was not sure - he is due to come back with confirmation later today. Are these pads a split set - ie four pads per wheel?
EBC think that the Redstuff for the rears might be DP32173C. He was a bit cagey because 'we have not had the OEM pads in for evaluation'. He will send a set though on sale or return for me to try

Part numbers are correct, you need 8 pads for the front which may be 2 sets from EBC, I don't use their pads on the front so can't confirm how they ship.

Great, thanks very much! He has not come back to me, so I will place the order now.

Are you saying that part number for the rear is correct as well?

I use Yellow stuff on the rear and the p/n for those is DP42173R.

DP31513C correct for the front. I've not fitted rears yet. You will need VCDS to fit rears; same partnumber as for S3 I believe

Hey, how is it that the front need 8 pads? isn't it just 4 ?
Thanks.

4 pads per side, it is a long caliper but the pads are short to make fitment easier.
