Return with my Silver TQS

I'm fiddling with it today, I'm adjusting the NS to bring the bumper a little lower

Had anyone gone about adjusting the wing gaps on an s4 bumper, I've read a few posts regarding but only really adjusting the two grill Allen key bolts

Does anyone have an idea of how I'd get the ko4 064 intercooler with the silly C clip things onto a FMIC?

Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Or similar to a B7 turbo unit

The pipe from the intercooler to turbo, it's not like a B7 unit it's held in with some sort of C clip thing

These three bolts just come out?

yep, then you can make (or buy?) a plate that bolts on there instead and provides a normal hose fitting, you can also add a bend or whatever to improve fitment. See the pics of marks install and you can see what he did.

That's perfect

How was yours running? Boosting pulling nice? Any hiccups?

Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

running pretty well, only boosting around 1.4 bar and pulling about 350 bhp of air ATM, going to up boost by about 5% on the highest map and slow the boost onset down to avoid heating her up unnecessarily and leave this current map as the around town kick in the **** map

@aragorn drove it, said it made progress well

That's nice man, what injectors did you end up going with and I'm guessing the TIP is different assortment of B7 parts

ive got 630's and i made the tip to suit, wasn't hard. It'd be easier to use a cone filter too but i have a thing about keeping the airbox for looks

I was thinking maybe a 90 degree silicone bend onto a VR6 maff with a cone filter and obviously run the normal pvc on the associated intake onto the tip and been told to run a MBC

I've done my research on running MBC and it's just a tool for destruction apparently

I'm only waiting for downpipe and an adapter plate but everyone I try to contact BBT I never really get a reply

I'm not too sure if I can just plum my N75 to these pipes and run off that, and not really sure what the port on the TIP is for

Original connectors fit?
And from this diagram it leads to a none return valve on our original set up
Number 24

plug looks different

24 is nothing to do with the N75. N75 is top right, number 9.

24 is the check valve the connects the evap canister to the intake. When the engines under vacuum the evap tank is connected to the intake manifold, when theres boost its connected to the turbo intake instead.

Sorry I meant the port on the actual TIP of the ko4-064

yeh, theres a similar port on the standard 1.8T TIP that feeds the EVAP system as i described above. It connects to a thin pipe that runs under the airbox shield the up to the check valves at the EVAP solenoid.

I have used my std type n75 and also have made a small adapter wire to fit the pierburg on turbo mounted n75 and has a mini timer plug on the end to plug into the std wiring. I blocked that port off as I do not use it

Right I've ordered the "Sub welly" and it should be here tomorrow, having a wicks across the road to my work makes sourcing an angle for mounting really nice, also the cold side piping 63mm and a few of the hot side cause I know the 064 turbo is probably different to a hybrid k300

if your going to cut the pipes as per my photo, but NOT weld them, you'll need to put a bead on the end of the pipes to stop the couplers blowing off.

I used a modified pair of mole grips to do this, if you have a google you'll find a few pictures.

I'm gonna try keep cutting to an absolute minimum, and go with your weld spots, just maybe not onto the tank
