That's reassuring to know.I had the mod done to my A4 2.0 TDi 150'2014 - I feel no difference to pre mod.
My car also had air con software update done. Did anybody else have their air con fix done? I wonder where it came from as my car was in for major service in Feb and air con was fine at this point. That's reassuring to know.

There's a recall on your air con software so we'll do it along with emissions fix.Air con fix? What did they say that did?

Steve think someone had one done. Sure it's on this thread couple of pages back (page 7) before and after rolling road graphs. If anyone knows where I could take my A4 2.0TDi 170 to test the power (ideally near Hull) I'd be happy to get a before and after graph.

To fix the 1.6 they're just fitting a mesh in front of the air mass sensor and performing a software upgrade.I'd be interested in seeing one for the 1.6 as the injectors are being replaced
Had my letter for months Chris, still undecided what to do. Lad at work had his a5 done, no noticeable difference. 7week waiting list and a free wash pack apparently.Had my letter through this morning about getting the update done.
In 2 minds really. Seen the power comes in later and more harder and also kind of hoping it will fix the flat spots I get in sport mode between 2000-3000rpm. Asked a few people in the mapping business for their advice.
When I was in asking about timing belt interval they said takes 1hr7 Weeks wait to flash a map on that takes 5 minutes
Kind of half wanted to back my current one up (which I now know hasnt been patched) incase the feel of the new one is poor.
Iirc think it's 4yrs or some many miles.I see.
Another thing I should really get sorted is the timing belt. Dont think its been done (or any paperwork for) since the car was made in 2012. Thats 4 years or 28.5k miles.
Cambelt: £455
Cambelt with waterpump: £599
Sure its more than the normal 4years/ 60k miles.
But at them prices. They can keep the work. The parts from TPS are about £125-250 including the pump!

Will do Chris.Let us know how it goes Mark.
Not even fussed about a car care kit, Chances are the products will be no where near the quality of the ones we all use.
Mines booked in for the 27th wait while it gets done.
Car care kit
I'm for the American style of gift aka loads of compo

Not yet. Imo think they will eventually or maybe some sort of extra road tax if not done. First letter I had asked to have it done. Last one said I must have it done. Why are the DVLA chasing this up ? It's not a legal requirement to let Audi 'fix' your diesel car is it ?
IircDust caps?

Will do no worries. Been driving last hour mixed roads, appears fine, if I didn't know wouldn't think it had been done.Been thinking about just biting the bullet and getting the A5 done, an update after a week or so would be appreciated @feva & @Steveredman.
