Hi all,

I was going to try and change my rear indicators and remove some condensation from one of the lights. As I opened the boot I had a look it obviously needs removal of trim.

Can anyone advise how I can get to them as I dont want to start pulling things and end up with broken pieces of interior.

Have you read your manual?

I can tell you now that NO trim removal is needed for the outer clusters on the 4F.

It's advisable to insert something between the outside of the light cluster and the bodywork to protect whilst you remove it. My B8 A4 came with a plastic piece in the toolset to use for this, I reckon an old credit card or similar might work.

Thanks for the replies. In terms of the manuals I only got a service book and MMI manual with the car in the leather folder. All I want to do is change the indicator bulbs/get at the back of the passenger side rear light.

Mine's an avant, I don't want to comment in case there are differences and it screws it up, sorry!

No problem. I would have a go but I know I will end snapping plastic or breaking things.
