Water at rear of passenger seat - any ideas?

Hi,

A friend of mine has a 2012 A4 diesel quattro.

He has water coming in from somewhere an is curious if this is a common fault? He thinks its maybe coming in from the vents under the seating when its been sitting parked up in heavy rainfall?

Anyone any ideas?

Thanks Andy but no sunroof....coming from other side of the bulkhead and running in somewhere we think?!?

is it the front or rear? if the rear lights inside seal is perished can run in. the vents under the rear bumper too. if they are the source you may see water in the boot and rear footwells.
Also the drain in the fuel filler cap and around the windows (can run some silocone round the windows to be sure)
I had multiple leaks in my mk4 and managed to get the the bottom of them all lol Pollen filter filled front foot wells, sunroof did too, front windscreen it was endless
