Hi,
Trying to get a feel for how long it's taken others to get their cars from point of order?
I ordered on Saturday and the dealer quoted a couple of months.
Is this about right or do I have longer to wait?
After being quoted 5 months for my current car (torture!) anything less will be good tbh.

Seems reasonable, I ordered early July, car left factory today so prolly another 3 weeks to go. Total about 3 months.

My saloon took 30 weeks. But that was in 2014 when the saloons were are rare as hen's teeth.!!

I ordered my S3 Saloon on 2nd September and have been given build week 46. Hoping to have it before Xmas!

Thanks guys. I'm thinking 2 months might be optimistic based on your comments plus I haven't had the chassis number yet to allow tracking. Maybe this side of Christmas would be more realistic.

Ordered mine at the end of June and I would've been able to collect for the launch of the new reg on 1st Sept had I not been going on holiday - so a couple of months for mine. To say I can't wait to collect it a week tomorrow would be an understatement.

Ordered on the 5th of August, build week is now locked in for BW40 (3rd October). It originally showed the 17th of October, so it's moved forward two weeks during the "order received" stage.

Just over two months then, and you've ordered virtually the same car

Pretty much mate, whilst I didn't want to admit it I couldn't wait to come home haha. Now just a week of work to get out of the way....!

What spec have you gone for in addition to Navarra?

I stuck to the Black Nappa interior, S-Tronic, Technology Pack Advanced including VC, 40/20/40 split rear seat, privacy glass, parking system plus. I did have the super sport seats and folding mirrors but decided I didn't really need them. I kept the standard wheels too as I preferred them to the alternatives.

The new one looks a cracking car.
Although it's not quattro.
It sits in the drive most of the the time as she works from home so I might need to take it to work a few times to give it a run lol
I didn't drive it for once as the salesman took her in the TT (ooh err!) while I drove the S3 on the test drives. So I'm eager to see what it's like. I had a Mk1 and the wife had two Mk2's (2.0TFSI & 2.0TDI) so this one should be different again.
