Hi,

Needed some help. The MMI on my Audi RS6 C6 has died. Worked fine then would not boot up at all so I changed a fuse or 2 and now it boots up and switches straight off. Also the lights to control the MMI are also dead. Do I need a new module?

Thanks

Check the boot for water ingress over the MMI. Remove the rear left panel and look for signs of water from the rear wash wipe, assuming you have an avant.

It could be any of 6 or 7 modules in an MMI 2G system. So you would need to work out where and how the fault occurred

Hi

Thanks for the reply

I have a saloon. I will have a look to see if there is. What's the process if there is?

Not likely to be water ingress then, so the next possible thing would be the bluetooth module if you have a phone.

Ask someone with VCDS to run diagnotics on the MMI to isolate the faulty module. Only takes about 5 minutes.
