Hi there guys just saying a big scottish hello! i own an ibis white facelift s3 with major plans, im an audi mastertech which always comes in handy! heard a lot of good stuff about this forum and hope to get involved :greyrs4:

thanks very much for the welcome, where abouts in scotland are u from? im in the fife area, ill get some pics of the car up asap not long bought it and still not had the chance to get any decent pics of it yet :racer:

Thanks for the welcome! Ive got a few plans up my sleeve, its already booked in for a revo stage 1 next week as its definetly in need of it, i will def get pics up asap for you guys :friends:

audi master tech.....great for brain picking.....who,s best for stage 1...? and is there anyway to find out if a car has been remaped ?.... cheers....
 
thanks everyone for the welcomes and ill get my finger out asap and gets some pics up but ive heard bonnie scotlands meant to be raining this weekend which i was quite shocked to hear about :grimacing: and derickcos there is a way of checking if a car is mapped by measuring the fuel pressure measured values through the diagnostic machine also audi main dealers and now checking ecu software for voiding warranty claims etc but you never heard that from me lol

Right guys and gals ive not managed to get any pics today in this warm sunshine because my young lad pritty much thinks ive got shares in toyr r us! but i do have a few pics of when i first picked it up and ill admit that theyre not the best pics but here they are -

This is what i was after a totally unabused black edition and i found it eventually but i had to travel for it, when i originally purchased it the rear haldex was not working correctly and because of audis new great idea for the generation 4 rear diff i ended up paying a lot of money for a new haldex complete, audi have not said that the rear haldex filter is not changeable and is not purchasable from tps or audi etc then i later found out that just changing the oil is not enough the filter wont last any length of time but all sorted now and i love the car and already have a lot ordered for it so watch this space guys and another few pics of my Mk5 gti that i still have that is heavily modified -
