Hi guys, i have an Audi b5 1.8t sport, im looking for the following work to be inspected and fitted.
Manual boost controller fitting
Boost hoses / vaccum hose inspected and replaced if worn out.
Boost guage supplied and fitted
And dump valve supply and fitted.

Prices and il travel to you.

Closer to East midlands Nottingham preffered but not essential.

Or send links to silicone vaccum hoses i need ie dump valve and boost guage.

I went with this boost gauge and soldered straight into the vent loom to turn on with the sidelights

Manual boost controller tends to cause problems on our cars, it's just another tool used in the process of detonation and isn't really worth it, stick with the N75 and get a decent tune, and our cars are simplified enough with regards to boost/vaccum leaks

According to the Internet the best dump valve to go with on our cars is the 007p or baileys, if your after the *pshh* noisy when boosting then get yourself a cone air filter, preferably k&n and a homemade Heatshield to prevent hot air intake

Leave the MBC well alone. If you want more boost you need have the ECU tuned to request more boost. The ECU is clever and if you try to fool it with an MBC it'll just close the throttle.

The standard dump valve works perfectly well and its cheap. Theres nothing to be gained from changing it, though it might benefit from a new one as they do wear out after a while. Main dealer part for around £30.

I've used one of those cheapey boost guages before and it did the job just fine. I cut a hole in a vent and installed it in there.

I got my one from flea bay along with the gauge, the gauge is 52mm stepper motor gauge, and the pod just sits over the Vent bud

Thanks for the info. Can anyone install one for me ? Or should i try myself? I never put on boost guage before. Id rather mount on dash. Not too good with cutting etc. And where does the vaccum pipe go on mines. 2000 audi b5.

Just went and purchase the lot. Lets see whats next lol.

Which hose/part will feed in to read boost guage. Where do i feed it to get a reading.
I use to have an Escort Rs series 2 before this and it was really simple to work on. But these Audis take up alot of bay space and tight in areas.

on the front of the inlet manifold theres a small bore pipe that comes off and goes down past the front engine. T in there for the boost guage.

Slightly fuzzy pic here i found on google:

To get the pipe inside the car, go thru the ECU box which is up under the windscreen on the drivers side, theres a wee grommet thing on the front of it thats perfect for a boost guage pipe.

Theres some videos on youtube that give you an idea. This ones really crap but gives you an outline of what your needing to do:
