Sounds excellent. The worst part is the waiting. :)

Good colour choice and a nice spec, hopefully you'll get around to posting up pictures and a review once you get the car...

Nice spec. You would be cheaper ordering the Light and Vision pack as opposed to the extended interior lights, virtual cockpit and high beam assist! Matrix headlights are AMAZING!!!

I'll double check but I thought it came out higher by a bit!

@ScottishA4B9 - it comes in an extra £275 when I run it through the configuration builder by doing the light & vision pack

As above, an extra £275 for the matrix lights would be money well spent ;)

Ah ok. Even so it is definitely worth it! They are absolutely AMAZING! They turn night into day plus they also include the dynamic sweeping front indicators. (You only get the rear sweeping indicators as standard).

Yeah - I had to stop somewhere and already spent way too much time with spreadsheets mulling over options and making it all fit into my budget / corp car allowance! If I didn't need the towbar then it would be fully loaded!

Just fitted a removable towbar to mine for £580 as opposed to £850 for the factory one.
The saving on that would get you the matrix lights ... well worth considering.
You could also then remove the towbar when you end the lease and move it to your next A4.

@hmy7k I would have entertained that route however my companies policy dictates that all options are factory fit and not retro-fit - I guess for insurance purposes. I also got concerned that I saw a post here where someone was charged >£1000 for a towbar!

Hi, I just did the same. Could I ask how you dealt with the coding and the details of the changes if you have them.

Whilst I can't help with what coding, I can help with what you can expect from the cars perspective when a trailer is attached.
- emergency brake assist disabled
- Navigation settings show 'trailer mode' for adjusting ETA to trailer speed limits
- Optical rear parking pop-up shows trailer when attached
- VC/DIS shows trailer speed limits (white box under speed limit sign if lower limit applies to that section of road)
- rear parking sensors disabled when trailer attached (but not when towbar is deployed)
- Specific trailer indicator light on DIS (looks like <1>) when indicating with trailer attached.

First car like it - but I don't have the audible beep when signalling like I have had in previous cars!

Were you made aware of delays in production to this particular car when you ordered?

It was almost a year ago I ordered! I've had the car since end October, so was long before delays etc. It's a case of thread resurrection!
