a4 tfsi TIP diameter

Hi all,

Does anyone know the diameter of the turbo intake pipe for the A4 tfsi?

im looking to make my own pipe but unsure of the correct measurements.

If your keeping the standard airbox don't bother mate.
 
I was looking to get some sore of come filter and boxing it in mate
 
If that's the case then shoot mate but if your doing it and planning in keeping the standard airbox don't bother, it's too tight to make your own TIP, I tried and ended up binning the lot, bought one instead in the end.

If no one posts the answer I'll measure the pipes at the weekend as in away currently.
 
just been doing some reading on this and from what I can tell the pipe is 3" where attaches to the maf and 2.5" where attaches to the turbo, does this seem about right?
 
**** mate, forgot all about this, tbh that sound about right.
 
Just whip your TIP off and measure it. Takes 2 mins.
