Looks like Volcano Red...but l do remember on the older Audi Configurator,which had a more varied choice of exclusive options...it did list this colour....Awesome photo,....EH.....

Did you buy the saloon 19's from the Audi parts department or done a deal when ordering the car?
I got a quote the other day from and will be best part of 5k with tyres, wish I could choose these on the configurator for a S3 3 door which I'm about to order.

Best parts quote I had was £3250 with Contis. There are new Saloon 19s on Ebay right now for 2k or best offer - sale of new 18s should bring 1200-1300 back towards them. No idea why Audi don't offer them on the Hatch or S/B but I waited a year for mine they don't come along that often.

So different Audi dealer parts departments offered various prices?...do they offer them as a set of 4 with tyres for a set price?
I got quoted around £950 per wheel with no tyre from my local dealer.
I have even contacted Audi UK to see if they would supply them on my new FL S3 hatch if I paid the £995 19inch upgrade fee but it was a no go.

True, I hated the chrome bits :(
Unlike in the states, the dealer here doesn't really do custom orders... You just pick from the one they have.. black optic package wasn't available that time.

I'll probably get the grill painted and the chrome bits around the window wrapped in gloss black.

It does right? I haven't seen volcano red in person but in photos they look identical. The paint looks different in different lighting environment.

Dubai dealer doesn't really do a lot of exclusive colors for the S3, they only sell the Silver, White, Blue , Red and Gray. However, the dealer in Abu Dhabi stock more unusual / audi exclusive colors, mostly for demo/display purposes. This particular car is a demo unit with around 5,000 KM and comes with an awesome 18,000 USD discount.

It is from the photo only, this paint is a little tricky to light.. I did a light painting on that photo...

Made another addition to my detailing collection yesterday. Definitive Wax Ascari ltd edition 22/36, a small over pour sample pot of the same wax, and their amazing QD Pro.

Got a coat of ascari on the car last night but haven't had a chance to get any pics in daylight yet!

Thanks! I actually do a lot of advertising photography here :)

The first shot was using light painting, consist of 3 images. The second one, no external lights but exposure blending; total of 7 exposures.

I had a brief stab at light painting myself but it's harder than it looks! lol

Keep up Rob ***, I thought you were into yer photography!! lol

I didn't have a clue either until a few months ago. Have a search on YouTube under car light painting, you can get some incredible results with it.

Yeah but it's all faux gash not a true representative of the actual car colour bit like the car configurator lol

True mate, multiple exposure shots and hdr can **** with the colours a bit although light painting is a bit different........just have to take my word for it mate coz I know you think I'm talking geeky techno babble lol

Thats exactly how i saw it. I bought 19" genuine rotors for £1800 and will flog the brand new ones which come on the car on Ebay. If i get £1200 i'm a happy bunny
