Afternoon all,

Considering the above on a PCH lease, and I've noticed a few things about the spec I hope I can get answers to:

The Sport still seems to have Sport Suspension as an option, I thought this was std on Sport/S-Line versions. If this isn't standard is it worth it open the standard suspension.

I notice the Sport comes with Xenon's as std, has anyone experienced these on unlit roads, just wondered how good the light output was as I presume they are lower power due to no headlight washers. Would't want them to be worse than Xenons/LED's I've had on previous cars.

Are the sports seats any good, notice no lumbar support is provided, I don't have a bad back but lately my previous cars have had this.

Many thanks

Hi I have the 1.4 Sport Saloon and hopfully can answer some of your questions.

Seats - Pretty much perfect. I do not find the lack of lumbar support to to be an issue

Suspension - Again ****** good. I wouldn't get the sports suspension as i feel it would be to firm a ride.

Lights - Christ they are bright! no complaints from me there either. pretty much perfect white light and lights up the road brilliant too.

To be fair the A4 1.4 TFSI is incredible considering the size of the engine. The fuel economy could be better but i do have a heavy foot so i cant complain there.

All in all if i was to buy again Id stick to stock with the only extra being Metallic Paint. I have brilliant black and its an absolute nightmare to keep clean.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the answers, fantastic. Looks like I won't need to add any options then which on PCH can cost a fair bit extra. Looking at Ibis White as agreed black is a mare to deal with.

Found a 2 year deal for £145 per month so hopefully it works out.

You get sports suspension as standard if you get an Ultra Sport. I think they are only the 2.0TDI though.

I've got Ibis White on my Sport Avant, and its really nice when clear. Its only when you start cleaning it that you realise just how dirty it is, so I'm quite pleased having had a black car previously.

Only downside of white is that the bug splats are really obvious!

Sports Seats - not very comfortable, if you have back issues they will cripple you without a lumbar support. Audi will not help you if your car comes with no lumbar support. If you can get it, get it.

Suspension - it's not the Sport suspension as standard. This is a good thing, as well as the 17" alloys with decent sidewalls. Comfortable, good handling, still not a great deal of body roll. No alloy damage to report as yet which with the state of the UK's roads is a good thing.

Engine, surprisingly ok. Economy (real world) good, pull not great but gets decent speed quickly. Wish it came with a DSG gearbox.

Lights, good. Not the expensive & sexy LED option of the S-Line. Looks cheap in comparison but work well with good night vision.

Thanks, thankfully don't have back issues. As above would love to add a few options but it hurts on the monthly payments on PCH. Still debating on the sport suspension but if little body roll then may skip. Whats the average mpg showing on the computer so I can compare to current? 1.2 TFSI.

I think I'm getting early 40's but it's difficult to say as the long term trip computer is very short term
