Disaster struck yesterday afternoon when the prop went bang! Lucky I had only just pulled off in 1st would dread to think the damage if it had happened on the motorway!

Got it all stripped down today seems to be the front coupling has s**t it's self, few bits have been destroyed and no longer usable including my down pipe ☹️

Have managed to order a new exhaust bracket, I have the standard down pipe still, and I have got a bilstein uprated front prop coupling from euro car parts.
I need to source 1 part so I don't need to buy a complete new propshaft and it slots in the end of the prop it's self looks to me like it locates it and keeps it central where it connects to the transmission

If any of you know where I can get one of these from PLEASE let me know! Or have the dimensions of it so I can get one made up!
Thanks guys

Is there a part number stamped on the side of the part you are looking for?

I was determined to find it:

I thinks its No:5 prop shaft bushing or propshaft coupling (? part number 191521137)
Can't find one anywhere online though.

Lmao, I was going to ask that but wasn't brave enough, can I ask what colour it is though?

Okay, now I'm lmao! Priorities, Sandra, priorities - part first, nail polish colour second.
Carl, sorry to hear about your "excitement". As you say, I dread to think what would have happened at speed. Glad you're okay.
That really is a rather fetching polish colour...

So, relying on fact to hide your nail polish lust, huh? Cunning.

Found some numbers on the part I need that's all smashed up
SGF-AG12
IFA-1000002610002

Had you been thrashing it beforehand? That's a serious twist to occur when just pulling away. I'd expect the bolts to pop first...?

Hello, Just this weekend happened the same to my S3 8P DSG, so, did you get the bushing part number, because as I understand the part numbers suggested here are for r32 mk4 which seems to be the same as S3 8L. ☹️☹️☹️
