It looks almost like a Porsche from the back. What's going on?

I'd buy that CC just like it's shown in that third pic.

VW has got to release it just like that, don't dial back the look on the production model.

The way that car looks right now, it looks better than anything out in it's class, and next class.

I suppose the top pic. does look like the Panamera...from a certain angle..

Here's what gets me. Audi/VW make a nice concept that if they just release it as shown, it would be perfect.

Look at this thing. It look like it can rival the Tesla Model S (and be much affordable since it's a pure gasoline car and not an overpriced EV)

But looking at these recent leak spy renders of the production of the 2018 CC. They already started the downgrade.

Honestly, this behavior of Audi/VW, of not being capable of taking a concept completely into production will be their undoing.

GG...all car manufacturers are the same mate...with concept cars barring Tesla....but they are a very expensive niche car...and will age extremely quickly.....

Does anyone ever take a concept to production?

Concepts do not usually consider large scale production costs or the safety aspects that must be incorporated into a car that makes it to sale.

Also, magazines renderings are pure fantasy.

Most either go less than concept, and others do better than concept, and some do equally good on the concept to production.

Tesla has making their production cars look better than the prototypes.
