tt s line black ltd edition?

hi guys im new on here and have been torn between the audi s3 and the audi tt 225.
anyway i have seen a tt for good money and was wondering if any of you guys know anything about the 2001 tt s line black ltd edition ?
thats exactly what the ad title says but could anyone please tell me a bit more about that model.
only asking as a friend once had an a4 s line and it had the s line badges everywhere but the tt has not.
was it diferent at all to the normal tt 225?

If you buy a 2003 onwards 225, it's basically the same thing without the badges. The S line was a limited edition but they then facelifted the standard 225 making it the same (3 bar grille, lowered suspension, oval rear view mirror etc), annoying those who had bought the S line. They only made the S line in 3 colours I think, black, avus silver and red.

Beware of buying what is advertised as an S line, to find out it's an ordinary 225 with some badges on, there are a lot of these about.
 
ok its 2002 tt 225. there is no sline badges at all, not on the exterior or interior, not even the steering wheel.
the only thing that seems different to other tt,s i have seen is it has some sort of decals over the rear wheel arches.
but that could be put on any car.
im a little confused.
dont get me wrong im still interested in the car but thought it would of had something a little more distinctive ?

The S line has a small badge on each side, not sure if it has one on the back or not. If you like it, that's fine, just don't pay extra for one that's being made out to be something it isn't. I've seen quite a few ordinary 225 TTs with S line badges stuck on.

The decals are nothing to do with the S line, they've just been stuck on by someone, I have some on mine.

now its just a case of saving up more cash for some mods.
