Am I right in saying that SP Blue is an exclusive colour option on the FL??? Mentioned in an early post I think.

There was definitely a post earlier on in the week that mentioned that someone asked for their new FL S3 to be painted SP Blue and it was agreed.
I read everything as well @jassyo06 :friends:

I think I remember reading this, but did it not have to be done through the exclusive paint option...?

No one would have picked them up yet as the earliest build week is week 36. Mine has a build week of 37. Hoping to pick up in mid oct.

Not long now mate....:friends:

I'm not to worried. I've had the loaner S3 long enough now that the honeymoon period is over, and the new car anticipation is all but dead. However, doubters should be encouraged by the fact that having lived with a free S3 long enough for its comedy performance to become normal, driven it far enough for it to have become 'just the car', and having had ample opportunity to bail out of the thing and buy something else, I'd still buy one with my own cash. It's a very nice car this S3...

At first glance I thought that was a Q7 with A3 wheels, then I noticed the S3 badge on the front.

The S3 19" wheels better suit it no?

I'm about to order a new S3 hatch, wish I could order these on the 3 door...shame you can only spec them on the saloon/convertible.

Same here but I handed the loaner S3 back last December, the new car anticipation is very much alive and only four more days to go.

I've always got my other car if I need a dose of reality. A 100k mile, 10 year old, 1200cc Clio in poverty spec really is a humbling experience.

Waiting on my FL S3 Saloon coming (BW 38) and thought I might treat it to a set of these magnificent seat covers

Not sure if they will go with the Navarra blue though. What do you think?

Hi guys,

I've been wanting an Audi A3 S Line for the past 2 years so you can imagine the research i've been doing...now my time has finally come after a long time convincing my other half and also getting a few big outlays out the way like a wedding!

On our car search we first went to the VW to check out the GTD as on paper it has more included. I got quoted with a £1k deposit & 10k p.a mileage for a used 2014 GTD with 9k on the clock £349 a month. Pretty high. He also said it would be more for a new GTD so we didn't bother. Instead the mrs was drawn to the new tiguan which we both liked with it's attractive design & angular shape. It was working out at £315 per month for a SE trim with parking sensors. However realistically the tiguan is too big for our current needs.

Tempted by the deal i said let's wait and see how it compares to the new A3 S Line which I hadn't had the opportunity to view. Audi Edinburgh had a platinum event on this weekend with deposit contributions so it was really busy when we arrived. That gave us time to have a look at the interior and exterior of the A3 S Line which straight away we both agreed this is the one we want. The interior is much nicer than the GTD & the rear bumper makes it look sportier than than the pre-facelift model. What also got me excited is the sweeping indicators which come as standard. Other things such as MMI navigation and the apple car play make it a winner for us.

Our finance quote for a 1.4TFSI 150PS with parking sensors, a £1k deposit and 10k mileage p.a & a £900 deposit contribution over 49 months would be £328. Though I didn't haggle so wondering (having never bought a new car before) if I'm able to? If so can anyone give me advice how to go about it or what I should ask to get thrown in?

Here are some pics of the white A3 1.4TFSI 150PS S Line which we test drove (very quick compared to our VW Golf MK4 1.9 SDI !)

& the cosmic blue (which we're likely to go for) which has a lovely dark blue almost green tint which shows up really nice in the sun:

I think you can squeeze them down to at least £300pm.

£299 and shake his hand. But I'd stay with the White. The blue will be a mare to keep pristine unless you are a detailing nut or getting it ceramic coated when you collect??

Interesting £299...I'll get in touch with them tomorrow and see what i can do.

I like both the white and blue. I understand what you're saying about being a nightmare to clean. Need to sleep on it!
