Good job. i was thinking of doing this as i have a few LED bulbs left over from my old car. Was it as simple as taking out the bulbs and putting in LED ones? or a bit more too it? do you need canbus ones?

Yes mate, exactly as shown in my video, plain LED bulbs for the front and rear dome with no problems, had to use canbus LEDs for vanity mirror simply cos I had some spare

Looks great and good tutorial, can I ask where you get the bulbs from and what type they are?
Thanks
Steve

They were just eBay jobbies mate... Standard T10 501 LEDs got ages ago. They're not canbus so they are on a dimmed setting when off which I don't think affects battery life but the brightness is really low so you can't really see them. Canbus is advise to stop the flickering due to the inbuilt resistors..

is this the same as the optional extra 'Interior Light Pack' from Audi?

Not sure whether it's the same. I added LED lights to everywhere, not done glovebox yet, awaiting flat led bulb and done the cup holder too...not sure whether puddle lights and door warning lights along with door handle led lights are part of the light pack. But those are the mods I plan to do to keep my car a constant canvas

Swapped out for canbus!
Also found the clip DJAlix was referring to...long nose pliers to squeeze and take out at an angle then slot it into rear groove on top of light unit

Finally got the cupholder light working. I managed to have the supplier to cistom made a cable loom to 'steal' power from the cigarette lighter.

Thanks all for all the tutorials loaded up here.

To confirm the Canbus look much whiter and remove flicker issue?

Mine are quite blue and flicker quite a lot...

Canbus stop errors on dash and low light glow.
I'd recommend to use EM tuning to ensure no bulb issues and they're the best for bulbs!
