Hey guys just put on my new RS3 grill that I bought off ebay and I really like it however some other people dont :(, Just wondering if anyone has any photo's of their front ends to give me an idea on how theirs looks.

with or without number plate?
quattro or no quattro badge etc

Plenty of peeps have fitted and RS3 style grill. If you like it, what's the problem?
For me I have an all black grill as that is what I like but I wouldn't badge the car with something that the car is not.

Black here.

@S3Alex - Considering the incredible amount of work you've put in I really like how standard this car looks... It's the sort of car I wouldn't think twice about having a play with at the lights on my bike, only to be left standing at green! Haha!

I've always liked stealthy cars, although the Escort was a departure from that.

This thing looks pretty stock but leaves most others behind...

Recognise that Gaff Alex

It's been the car's second home for some yrs,and now it has Storm Developments for summer holidays too.

Hi mate, sounds good have you got a picture of yours? If everyone had the same tastes and opinions then it would be a boring world we lived in, so as long as you're happy with it then that's all that matters.

Generally speaking though, the RS3 grill is a well liked mod to the S3.

Mines a pre-facelift and so there isn't a straight swap for an RS grill available, my only option is to buy a couple hundred pound RS6 grill and hack it up to make it fit which I don't fancy doing! Had I the option though, I'd run the RS3 grill but with an S3 badge, chrome rings and the number plate centrally under one of the headlights.

I've just changed my grill from the chrome with terrible grey plastic bits, to the Black Edition Optics grill which I much prefer, you can see it in my profile pic.

Looks a bit OTT to me, it must be Boy Racer version :sm4: I'll stick with the subtle Quattro badge on the grill.

I literally just drove past this exact car . It turns out he only lives a few streets away from me .

I wasn't a fan of the Quattro badge but the car has a nice set of BBS alloys and suspension set up on it .

I fitted the RS3 grill to mine 2 years ago and have only seen one other car with it since .I think it suits the S3 bumper well as the fog grills have a matching honeycomb design .

RS3 black gloss eBay special on mine, I made up a little bracket and mounted a Quattro badge where my old S-Line one was. I have since cut the rings badge holder out so you can see the honeycomb behind

Mine has a replica RS3 grill fitted and I painted the fog light surrounds gloss black as well as the lower front lip on the splitter to match

Looks great mate! some amazing grills on here!, Where did you get your S3 Badge? or did it come with the grill? my old one does not fit the new grille :(

My grill came with the rs3 badge. I took the s3 off the old badge as it just sticks on and took off the rs3 on the new badge. I cut the new badge right next to the circle on the back of the new badge at an angle and then stuck on the s3 logo from the old badge. seriously 20 minutes

You have nothing to worry about, the RS3 grill looks great on the S3! I recently had the same grill fitted to my standard A3, doesn't look as good as it does with the S3 bumper, but as long as you like it, it doesn't matter.

I would leave the large Quauttro badge off, especially if you have the number plate there as well. It seems like too much going on on the front:sweatsmile:, but again it's up to what you like. Someone on here had it on their S4 if it helps: www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/chops-s4-thread.252812/

Think I am alone but I actually quite like the larger quattro badge!
