New RS3 2017

Spot on. If they don't like it, it gets skipped over and kept for future......"well you said this". At times it like listening to kids.
As long as posts are not a personal attack on anyone then it's all good banter. Unfortunately, some people will never know what that is or how to do it.
I'm just waiting on one of you current owners winning the lottery and passing me you hand me down RS3s, not fussy on colour or spec, just that engine. :sign yum:

Ok mate you have 1st dibs on my floret pup if I win that lottery .... I know you'll look after the paint :)

I may then have to visit my Audi Dealer & make his day ordering an R8, RS7, S8 & RS6 .... although I wouldn't want to clean & wax all those every week lol ! .... & all in matching floret of course :yum::sunglasses:

Hi Guys,

I've just booked an RS3 mod 2017 Nardò Grey from the Audi dealer in Milan. They will receive 4 cars in March for show rooming reasons and they offer you the chance to order one of those cars.

You can't decide which accessories you want, but you have to take it as it comes. Mine has open rooftop, RS exhaust, Magnetic suspensions.

When I get home I'll post a pic of theTab with the models that are available.

Would be interested to see the proof of this.

But I'm also surprised you haven't been lynched yet. Even though you posted in the "2017 RS3" thread, it's actually a trap and you're not allowed to post anything about future models. I'm sure the angry mob will be along shortly :sign ban::tearsofjoy::tongueclosed:

So, from this are we to believe that a FL 2017 RS3 SportsBack will be available in March next year???

I want this to be real as much as any other "FL Dreamer", but I can't believe that is an actual facelift RS3. Surely it would have been announced by Audi...

I spoke to someone from Bristol Audi today.

What I found quite strange was how he spoke of the RS3. I said I wanted new, he stated there were very few available in the UK and the ones that are seem to have low specifications.

Now he said that to get around that, you would need to place a factory order at which point I brought up the orders being stopped. He stated that yes, they have been put on hold but if I ordered one I will just be waiting for a date that hasn't been announced for production to resume. He said if I bought one now, I would just do without the "pi lights"?

Now I saw both sides of him there, wanting an order now by stating how little the change would be but he also was open to me ordering one and waiting.

What I found interesting was how he spoke of it being definite that I could order one, just then wait for the delivery date whenever it may be.

Quick while we're on topic! When is the next Audi event??

@Bobo10 for admin

Quiet hype intensifies...

Yes, you're not allowed to post anything! This is certainly a trap.

Is that necessary? As previously posted, if you don't have anything constructive to add to this thread then don't post! I were providing an update for those who might be interested, because if someone had posted that I would of been. Turns out I did nothing but fuel the fire!!!! :gaehn:

I were turning into the forecourt when they phoned me about the sales event and he told me if I were not happy with a base spec car then there was nothing he could do for me but take an order. I'm not happy spending that money on a car unless it's what I want to buy.. Not sure how you waste your money, but there we go. If he had one in a decent spec I would have gone in and providing the figures were sensible, bought one.

No need to get a*** because people are holding off for the right car.

Looks like I touched a nerve there?
Angry mob indeed!
My advice is just to get the car. No point in hanging round for something that might never happen... wasting everyone's time, Audi sales guys etc etc.
And I don't waste my money I just put it where my mouth is:laughing:

Might be nothing, but I have seen a couple of German articles which are stating, as fact, that the new RS3 SB will be unveiled at the Paris Show and the Saloon at the LA show. This has been repeated a few times now, so it may be accurate or it may be rubbish, but we will have to wait and see. Last time I spoke to the Audi Sport guy at a local dealer he said he expected both to be available Q2 2017 - again take big pinch of salt but he sounded confident.

I've heard / read similar things too. My dealer has told me Q1 2017 for the SB but was unsure about when the saloon would land....he expected it to arrive mid 2017. When is the Paris motorshow?

This is what I am hoping for and it would make sense for a F/L announcement, more sense than a RS1 for example. When is the Paris show?

I said from the start, that the new TTRS engine needs to start paying for itself, and I can't see them banking solely on the TT to do that. But I'll stop discussing non-factual information before I anger the mob further :tearsofjoy:

Ah the circle, how I love it....

Even if it ends up being 2030 with a laser powered engine, can I bring my RS3 round for you to autograph the bonnet? Just so I can think of you every time I get in it?! :relaxed::tonguewink:

If we aren't allowed to speculate, what is the point in having this thread? All we can do is speculate and work with the little information available.

I'll say it again. Can people stop taking everything so seriously. Yes, forums are for discussing, speculating and banter but if you can't take it don't dish it out.

This is the 8V RS3 forum and no matter if you have one now or looking to have one next year it'll still be a 8V.

I think everyone is looking forward to a FL RS3, if it materialises no matter if you own a current car or not. So continue to speculate, discuss and banter to your hearts content but take everything and everyone with a pinch of salt and don't forget we are all waiting on the same thing.

I would love you to Tom, but I reckon you'll still be in your S3 dithering about the 2032 F/L...
And before AudiNutta or RVP goes all kickass on me, I am only joking btw, just a little bit of humour to lighten up the mood. You're a serious bunch you lot!

Audi really do need to get another RS3 out there .... it's such a fantastic car !

Out in mine today for a fair few miles out in the sun .... it just does everything you want it to from cruising on the motorway, blasting up the slip road as you join, b-road overtakes & cornering in dynamic with mag ride .... to hearing the most glorious soundtrack in an undercover shopping centre car park :sunglasses:
Then seating 4 in comfort and carrying all the shopping bags effortlessly in the boot and the super sport seats keeping you comfortable for the entire journey and climate control keeping you chilled in this 28 degree heat. Also saw a Lamborghini today and initially thought 'that looks cool' but then had to laugh when I realised my 'hatch' would not be much slower than that £200k supercar.

These cars are frickin amazing !!!! :)

You Guys hang on in there, facelift 2017 or 18 .... They ARE immense & well worth the wait

There you guys are. :)

Ok, so what is up with Audi and there decision to not make the RS3 with the cool business front end like the A3 Clubsport but they are willing to give the Audi TTRS the cool business look instead.

Do they not see how the rings on the hood look so much better than the giant rings on the baby singleframe grill?

If a FL does come out, there's no way they'll bump the price up from £40k to £47k!

I would if I were Audi; there's too many out there rich enough and/or daft enough to spend way more than £47K for an Audi RS3.

Look at the guys here gagging for a facelift...:hubbahubba:
