My car arriving soon was specced by the dealer and I could not amend it.

I might take the badges off the back (A3 & TFSI) to make it look clean and to make it easier to clean.

Anyone done this, any tips?

Ta!

I've taken my S3 badge off , there are quite a few threads on this already - I'll try and post a link ....

Rob! I'm shocked you removed the S3 badge!

I would certainly remove the TFSI badge... too many letters.

Ask the dealer if they will do it for you. They can only say no, and you don't risk making a mistake.
You can always do it yourself if they refuse.
I had a bmw once (sorry) and the dealer removed the badge from the back during collection.

Aahhhh good point!

If you decide to take the rings off can I have them for a key ring? :p

LoL it's not a VW you know ;o)

I almost did a few weeks ago,I find them awkward to clean in between - a fellow member suggested cotton buds that I'm yet to try.

Removed all my badges on my last 3 cars. Still have mines on the A3. However, reading this just gave me a wee job to do tomorrow. Mines will be getting de-badged tomorrow.
As above, hair dryer to soften the glue and then some thread or floss to take them off. Some APC cleaner to take the excess glue off. Easy peasy.

I'm going to cause mass rage here, anyone know if you can take the front s3 badge off?

Front badge just clips out but doesn't look the best

I'm a fan of the clean lines look. Just not got round to doing it. But, alas, the badges will be gone tomorrow.

You can still get them off. A little bit of gut wire down behind them will take them off easily.
