I didn't realise you'd gone from 3" to 3.5" I thought the milltek was a 2.5" and the BCS was 3"
Looking at the picture, you can also run two smaller pipes both sides of the diff but I doubt there will be a hanger for the exhaust round the other side of the diff!
Is the battery in the boot on the S3 as you'd gain quite a lot of room in the engine bay if it is - I'm running out of room under the bonnet!

The battery is in the engine bay, but if I'm correct I think Alex uses the battery tray in the boot for his WMI pump? I'm sure he will be along to confirm this though.

Good to hear they have been making good progress with your car - I have noticed there always seems to be something that comes up where you could improve it haha!
Does this progress also mean you'll have a parts list for the gearbox I've been looking at the different driveshafts used more recently to try and restrain the temptation of just buying a gearbox!

I sometimes miss the manual for pure driving experience, but for out and out performance even on the road it's very hard to beat a DSG. One of the reasons I love taking my wife's Mini Cooper S out for a hoon After the updated DSG map went in on my box last weekend it has been even more impressive. Not really in the same league as the plan is here, but still...
I'm sure it will be fun.....the turbo and head mods should aid spool,and Andy says the HTA82 wheel is a great improvement over the standard part.
The turbo should still clear enough air for 700bhp at maximum,where the thing as it stands can get to around 750bhp,so I'm trading a bit of absolute top end for better torque and power across the usable range.
Also suggested superfinishing the cams,and will see if Race Developments recommend anything else.
Already got the flywheel,transfer case and gearbox oil cooler,so things should start to come together soon.

I think i saw 800+ whp s3 8p but i think it's not a daily (1/4 mile car, etc).
Not advertising here, but i think that this is the fastest/most powerfull tfsi in the world (848hp). Coming from a greek tuner (0-400 tune to race). The car was driven to and from the race and ran 8.9.Mmm

It's a great effort and I also want a daily reliable driver so I'll go with what Storm get for me.
The ECU does make a huge impact on the delivery so that helps too.
