QC for me too. Anyone know roughly how long between QC and arriving at dealer?

Does anyone know or have scheduled ship departures from Emden to the UK?
My car has been in Emden for over a week now, it has been assigned a ship but I've no idea which one or when it'll arrive.

I wish my car was available for pick up on midnight of the 31st. Last i still have to wait till mid Oct... can't come quick enough!

I do too. I still have no signs of moving out of preparation. Its really bugging me now

That's typical for 1st of Sep/Mar releases. There are often dozens of people collecting their brand new cars at these times!

Yep - I'd recommend it to be honest. When we did our midnight handovers we got a band in, had an open bar (non-alcoholic obviously) and had a few things going on to keep people entertained. Was fun for me and I was working! The last one I did before leaving we had just over 100 cars go out at midnight, definitely a good buzz

Personally I would not collect a car at midnight. Good light is necessary to properly inspect a vehicle.

I picked my current car up at a Midnight delivery on the 1st March 2014.

It's done inside, in the work shop as there were about 20 going out, and there was plenty of light.

Same here, QC as of this morning. Also interested in rough lead time. YourAudi mentions QC itself can take up to a week.

my BW35 car will not be ready by then, but I got an (incorrect) invite to pick it up at midnight 31st! I phoned up and it although it was an error, they said I am welcome to some along for the entertainment etc- think I will!

entertainment = plenty of attractive young salepersons who are happy to demonstrate their (cars) assets lol

Me too. The race is on for a few of us by the looks of things ..... Will be interesting to see the difference in delivery dates as things pan out ...

In the Times today VW has had to halt production due to disputes with two key suppliers, hope it does not spill over to Audi.

My build is due to start 3rd Oct, so chances are that snow will have arrived in the uk before my Cab

My week 37 build has just gone into preparation :)

Just got confirmation from the dealer that it takes approximately 3 weeks to get from QC to delivered, sometimes longer :( I think it is now more painful knowing that the car is built and ready to go!

Stuck on status 40 (waiting for a transport) since Friday, tried to get the ball rolling re delivery but haven't heard anything yet!

Mines stuck on the same! Not collecting until 1st so should be fine.

Vessel Emden (Panama) just arrived at Emden port. Looks to shedule a stop at Sheerness on Thursday for those also awaiting Southern delivery. Mine has been at the port since Friday after 4 days in QC. Hopefully should be able to pick her up on 2nd/3rd Sept.

My order got put through to Audi on Saturday. They currently have a plant shutdown for the summer. Does anyone know when I'm likely to get my order number?

That was a quick QC, now left the factory!
