Anyone know anything about it or have it fitted?

I'm assuming it's just a sound actuator? Like the 8V S3.

I have one fitted to my 2.0tdi A5..... But it's due to be put back to standard soon as I'm not happy with it. What engine do you have?

I had the active sport exhaust kit retro fitted to my 2.0tdi, but turns out Audi UK are now saying it shouldn't have been fitted to my 2.0tdi and was intended for the 3.0tdi.

The sound doesn't match up with the engine at all well, sounds great outside the car as it sounds like a v8 when in dynamic. The sound is louder than the standard active exhaust but I just wanted the look and sound of the 3.0tdi....with hindsight wish I'd just bought the 3.0tdi!

The system also isn't interacting with drive select as was expected.

After 7 months of Audi trying to find solutions they have admitted defeat and are putting my car back to standard in 2 weeks. I think I'll then just look for a custom exhaust so I get the same dual exhaust look. I do like the gloss black exhaust tips that come with the active sports exhaust, really looks the part on my BE+, I'll miss those.

That's a shame mate.

If you don't mind me asking how much was the retrofit?

Well I've now had it removed and I'm back to a standard exhaust. I'm missing the dual exit exhaust look, so now looking to see if it's an option to fit a standard 3.0 tdi exhaust in its place.

Hi
I was looking to retrofit this to my TFSI as I have been in touch with specialists in Germany and they confirm it will fit (Audi UK would only state TDI after I questioned fitment)
However I have just stumbled upon the aftermarket products that state they override the 10kph/2300rpm cut-off that the standard system has.

Can you confirm the standard system switches off the sound at these times. So really it's only masking the TDI sound at idle and pull-away.

I don't really want to shell out another £300 to get it to work at all rpm. It ends up a hell of a lot of money for what is fake noise.
