I was at a footbal match last weekend, and at half time I was queueing up for my Pukka Pie and everyone's like "Bovril please", my mate says "you gotta have a hot Bovril with that pie, it's the only way."

Because Sony are stopping making them next year and concentrating on LCD.

Chances are everyone else will follow suit.

Unfortunately all the people who splashed out a grand plus on plasmas have wasted their money.

Just like me who spent 1300 on a CRT a few years ago realizing it is now worth about 250 quid!:faint:

I've got a Samsung LCD but to me it's just a big telly. Never realised there was a difference between it and a plaz. Plus i thought it looked nice.....

Mind you, i'm not particularly knowledgeable when it comes to gadgetry!:(

The only plasma I've seen that I could actually live with, was a Poineer 42" (I think that was the size) that had been calibrated and set up by a traditional hi-fi / AV specialist near me...and it was stunning.
But it was £6k or something equally silly.

The new Sony LCDs are stunning...

Well you are ok then. Samsung are regarded as one of the best LCD manufacturers, so much so lots of other companies use their screens. Not only that but around 80% of home electricals will have a Samsung chip in.
 
Went to a shop just outside vegas last december and they had some that i think were 72" or something stoopid and they were only about $4000!

A Mate of mine bought a Philips one a few years back it was about £1600 and a 42 incher. I remember one day he said 'come round and watch the footy' I was sat so the right of it and the picture was crap, also because it was live the picture was 'stuttering' because the refresh rate was so poor. One second you would have a corner then it would jump to a goal kick. Me of course being kind said 'this is great this isn't it'. What a lie that was.

Big offensive flowery BBQ shirts/wigs.

A day out with the family.

Handjobs.

Those Mk2s came with rust around the rear wheel arches as standard didn't they???

Nice looking car though, don't see many good un's around nowadays.
