Audi Beam

That's nice and all but I really would want to have cornering light instead of these plain chain Bi-Xenons. Where the part #s to order the Adaptive Bi-Xenons?

Exterior Light Pack ?

Yep you get the puddle and warning lights in the doors too ;o)

Pretty good all told for £170

I seemed to have missed this thread for some reason, will have to ask Santa for a set I think. Not sure if I want them ion all 4 doors but certainly will ask Santa for the rings for the fronts.

Yep is very good value at £170 but very expensive for the dealer if they forget to order them ...lol

Sounds good - or you could have rings on both passenger side doors and quattro on drivers side doors - variety is the spice of life !!

Can't do that I'm afraid, the led units are marked left and right so you could go diagonal corners :)

Haha lol you'd have an upside down quatttro - seems wierd making handed units when you can fit them either way into the rectangular cut out in the door trim.

So I tried to resist I really did but this got me thinking .......... Just ordered quattro beam for the rears.

It's all in Chinese... https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.29.24dbO7&id=528937067475&ns=1&abbucket=2#detail

And yes, they're plug and play, as long as you have the LED light pack...

If anyone able to dig through TaoBao, there're like all sort of crazy stuffs there... Like real carbon interior trims for like US$200, memory seat upgrade for like US$800 (Complete metal seat frame upgrade), RS3 front and rear bumper for like US$1K etc etc... Let me know if you guys need help translating anything LOL

How easy/ not so easy is it to retrofit these puddle lights to a non-ILP car...? I think they look cracking!

My car went in for its second year service and whilst the service went OK (I think) the service technician had incorrectly reset my service from Fixed to Variable and noted that my car was missing its canister of tyre sealant. I pointed out to the service receptionist that it wasn't missing as it never had it as I have a space saver wheel. In fairness to them I had forgotten to clear my spare wheel compartment of the usual "stuff" which we all carry as essential things so the wheel wasn't very visible.

The folder in which my service documentation was given invited comments from their head of business on their performance. So I politely pointed out the 2 problems - and tonight the service technician came to my house to reset the service period to fixed ..... and they gave me free of charge 2 sets of Audi Beam lights and even fitted them for free. I got him to fit one set in the A3 and the second set in my TT.

So whilst a problem is annoying, it's how companies deal with problems which is how we really judge them and I cannot fault mine. I am a very happy bunny.

I got mine from Raywell Design although I don't see them on their web store anymore. They may still be on their eBay shop. I did have to realign the logo when they arrived but otherwise they're a great job.
