Just popping a post on here, what do people think of these?

Reviews are solid as an all-rounder, which seems ideal for me. do high mileage but also like to play a bit.

Managed to grab them at £100/corner all in fitted and old tyres away - this was in Bristol City Centre.

Fitted Thursday - Thought I'd stick this up in case any immediate "do not buy" comments come up :)

Had them on my Evo 6 and replaced them twice with the same. Thought they were really good, quite soft though so wear quickly

They seem to come out very well in nearly all tests in the dry as one of the fastest lapping tyres. Although they seem to trade some of the wet weather grip for this good dry performance. Nearly all tests also seem to mark them down for rolling resistance so they are not probably the most fuel efficient tyre. But overall they look to be a good safe tyre, certainly much better than a lot of tyres you could have fitted.
The Uniroyal Rainsport has better wet weather performance and rolling resistance.

I had 225 / 40 / 18s on my S3 and they are by far the best tyres available on the market, looking to replace them again in December as I am coming up to the minimum tread :(

£100 a tyre is a really good price too!

They aren't a bad tyre they don't come any higher than 4th in any of the tyre test reviews.Certainly better than most of the Chinese ditch finder tyres available. The poor rolling resistance and not so good wet performance is seen in the tyre ratings FBB .

The Goodyear Eagle F1 assy 3 only has 1 problem as far as I concerned it's rim protector isn't that great, gets a CAA rating and is only £4 a tyre more than the Vredestein.

The tyre with more 1st place results in tests than any other.

Continental reviewed against the Vredestein in a 225/40/18 size.
