Exhaust sound question...

Hi all,

Just out of interest, is there an exhaust system that'll make my A4 sound racier, (and improve performance?), I have a Black Edition, 2.0TDi saloon, when in sport mode the note changes, but I'd like it to sound sportier/throatier :)

Could do a back box but don't know how it would sound on a diesel had a s40 1.9 d but never got round to fitting my Janspeed box

iirc Dsport on here gutted his rear silencer and re-welded it back together. Hes go a 2.0tdi.

audi upgrades
I've got a 2.0tdi 170 mapped to 205. Custom stainless steel exhaust, no middle box, just two small back boxes and quad tips. Doesn't sound bad, but going to gut the dpf and stage two map to make it sound better.

My Leon has a straight through and only the dpf.
Sounds OK when being caned

Ditto as above, I have no back boxes, but kept the centre silencer as I couldnt bare the idea of motorway drone.
Sounds nice, not loud, but nice enough for people to note it sounds alright.

Next I am having the DPF gutted. I have heard a gutted dpf on standard exhaust and it sounded pretty mean tbh.
