Interesting as I have just removed the Matrix lights so I can get a build week after both my Dealer and Audi UK insisted they were not coming for months???
I ordered my car back in mid May

Me neither....its an s-line but its a Dutch pic so maybe they are available over there...they look like wheels from a 'lesser' model

Oh not Cosmos Blue again!....Cosmos has been imprinted on my mind since the rumor of its release...I do like the colour but my days of spending hours of removing spots, watermarks, finger prints, smudges, dust and so on are over...Cosmos is probably one of those colours I suspect...but of course when I first see one i will wish I had selected it....it'll be one of those awwwwwwwgh moments no doubt..saying that I've only seen a handful of PFLs so i may never see one!

Cosmos Blue Metallic v Sepang Pearl....i would very much doubt it ...From the pics of CB v Sepang in the flesh I would say ....NOT A CHANCE....
Sepang is one of the best blues to grace this earth..

I had actually change my order from Cosmos Blue to Daytona... However, having seen it in person yesterday I very quickly changed it back. I was very taken aback by it and the aqua Marine shimmer really came through even under poor garage (not showroom) lights. Can't wait to see it in the sun

If it was me...which it isn't... I'd change it back to Daytona...the pearl effect in the paint is outstanding....but it boils down to a blue or a grey car I guess....as that's what they both look like from more than 10 feet away....

CB looks different in quite a few pics...here...not wow....although still a nice colour!

The most important thing with the FL to me is the virtual cockpit, something I miss in my current car :/.

Sheesh, Think they need to practice taking photos more, those photos look awful with the exception of the white cab (IMO of course). And the top one of the grey saloon looks like an A4 of sorts, perhaps its the angle.

I saw the FL in both Cosmos blue and Daytona Grey for the first time yesterday and as much as I love Daytona Grey I was taken aback by the two tone nature of CB. It really does look SOooooo much better in person
It even looked much better than the sample card I had a look at a month or so ago! Can't wait
Hi mate. Mine stays down provided you switched it off from the volume knob before stopping the engine. As long as you've done that it doesn't automatically come up

Ta, but I meant if you had music or radio playing. I was thinking that as these can have more focus in the VC it might be possible to keep it down (unless using CarPlay etc).
But I guess it's still gonna rise every time.

Ah thought that was what you meant...realised after I'd posted. Not had a proper play yet but have noticed that spotify sometimes kicks in automatically via bluetooth and the screen stays down.

Looks like you cannot spec Cosmos blue on the S3. Would be a shame if it's a nice colour.

I got that too but aparently its an error. My dealer rang audi and they said that no cars are going out with matrix lights as there is a problem with them in the factory
Well my dealer reckons car should arrive in October and even tried saying order had been locked in when I wanted to make a change, however I spoke to Audi uk who said it won't be locked for a couple of weeks, dealer then updated my order and said build week hasn't been affected. Time will tell- I'm in no particular rush!

Something Audi have never been great on TBH! Why I got mine re-sprayed before I even picked it up!
I don't know if this has been covered above, but it seems you can now spec the matrix LED lights with the driver assist pack, which you couldn't do previously.

I really hope that's true mate! Although I am not doubting you for a second so please don't take that the wrong way!
However, I have spent all of last week trying to find out when the Matrix lights would be available, only to be told 'Not for a long time'. I have since removed them and been given the same BW as yours.
I will be absolutely fuming if you're right and I don't get the car I originally specced due to misinformation from Audi UK. Especially as they were a key component of the car I ordered.
Well, I'd been trying to get my dealers attention re a spec change for a couple of weeks, it was only when the youraudi webpage showed order received and a build date that he realised he might not have all the time he thought he had. He confirmed the spec change (added supersports seats and changed to Navarra blue) with Audi in Germany, and yes, I've definitely been allocated build week 36. His expectation is for a handover in early October, quite a bit earlier than he'd originally been told, which was for builds with Matrix lights commencing in quarter 4.

I will be fuming too if they put them out with matrix lights as i ha e been told no carsare going out with them

I don't suppose you would do me a favour? Would you be able to get your dealer to screen shot his order screen, obviously blank out any personal info, and send it to me.
It would show the options inc. Matrix Lights and the build week confirming everything.
Don't worry if not... it would just help me when going back to the my dealer to ask why I can't get them and others are. It's been really frustrating that whenever i query them or Audi Uk about it, i get a default response saying I or others are mistaken and I can't get a car with them
I would love to take all doubt out of the equation and hopefully get them moving. You're not the only one this week with BW and matrix lights so obviously there are other issues with my order.
Obviously i would understand if you didn't want to.
@G--Man I've been in touch with a dealer this week about a new A3 but without matrix lights. The way he worded things in an email was "I can have this specification built in week 41" which pretty much implies your dealer should be able to determine when they can get a build slot for a car with and without matrix lights, if there is a difference. Might be worth escalating within your dealer.
Saw my first FL s-line SB this morning on the drive into York, looks nice enough, not too different...

Saw 4 FL A3 in Audi West London today (a SB Sport Monsoon Grey, a SB S Line Daytona Grey, a Saloon S Line Nano Grey and outside a SB S Line Black which was... well, how to put it, like a black car outside... dirty!)
The 2 S Lines had Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 2 tyres (225/40/R18 92Y). http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Hankook/Ventus-S1-evo2.htm
All 3 greys look nice but Daytona is on another level of greatness Especially when you have 3 cars pretty much side by side each with a different grey it's just striking.
And the Nano Grey is going to mark easily for sure. The paint is so uni dimensional that it'll show everything.
