There is a story behind all this.

IT IS NOT THE KEY!

Its the fuel system (Mine died and it has a normal key).

My car did this 3 months ago. It was stripped down and checked over by some Renn Sport bods while back at the dealer.

The fix should be a recall after the diag work was done on my car. (Well that was what I was told)

So I'd give Audi a call and ask if you are worried.

Do not ignore it, when mine cut out the first time, it ran incredibly lean before it happened. Which if I was going fast would have been disastrous.
