That doesn't look too dissimilar (if at all) to the Cupra R Splitter you can purchase from mjr901 on here for a third of the price.

I'm fitting mine tonight and all you have to do is trim a couple of the center lugs and ends for it to fit, here's a guide: http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/cupra-r-splitter-fitted-to-s-line-bumper.60902/

I have a Cupra one that we bought ages ago for my sons corsa , it didn't look like it was going to fit though tbh

My mate and I fitted the LCR Splitter yesterday and with a little bit of work, it actually looks surprisingly stock on my black S3 and pretty damn good for only 40 quid & an hours work taking it slow.

To get the job done properly you definitely need two people and follow the below steps:
  • Get your car in the air, at least the front (using something safe!)
  • Trim down the two center lugs by a cm
  • Trim the other lugs by 1mm so they're flush with the rest of the splitter
  • Position it centrally and measure up
  • You hold it in place and once happy, the other drills a pilot hole either side where the splitter first properly makes contact with the rest of the bumper and then drill the screws in after
  • Start working outwards, pulling the splitter towards you slightly so it still sits with the S3 bumper rather than curving off too quickly and continuing to follow the pilot hole then screw process (don't screw the very last lug in on each side yet)
  • Cut the ends off either side so they're flush with the wheel arch, as they'll stick out towards the front wheels by an inch
  • Finally drill the end lugs in so it hugs the body tight as it'll potentially sit a little low otherwise depending on how you've positioned yours
I'll take a photo in the day and upload it.

What year is your car ?

Just to jump on the band wagon here I got the Cupra R splitter (£40 ish from eBay last year) and got mine sprayed before fitting:

You get a bit of a gap around the middle where it doesn't fit quite right but for the time being its good. Though my car is slammed so it's got a few stone chips.

does the lcr splitter fit onto facelifts sline

That looks good mate, anything other than a black car then the splitter definitely needs to be colour coded in order for it to suit/match the car.

Mines a 2007 S3 so not sure what it would look like on yours but can't imagine there's much difference in the positioning/appearance. These aren't my photos but it's a pre-facelift S3 and suits it really well (mine still has the lower center section on the S3 bumper aluminium which I prefer).

I imagine it does but as to how it looks I don't how well it sits, it looks good on the below S-Line (better if is was colour coded) but think it's a pre-facelift.

Ultimately this is the goal for me, previous owners sprayed my aluminium section black so it'll hopefully look almost spot on to this.

Waiting to see pics of it on yours.

Same as mate, she looks like a stealth fighter! I've got some Anthracite TD 1.2s coming in three weeks for my birthday, I'm also visiting a wrapping company next week to look at doing my grill, b-pillars & window trims and then I'll be getting some Lamin-x (Tint colour) for the headlights as Rabit222's S3 8P (below) looks mean as fu*k with this done.

Regarding the splitter, I'm popping to B&Q on lunch to grab a mini drill (mate with ramp is unavailable) so I can drill in the final lug on each side so it hugs the body work tighter, I'll make sure to upload photos after this bit is done.

Will have to do a build thread once the above is all done.

Does it not, I know they're slightly different as the facelift has a more flared center section on the front bumper but didn't realise there was enough in it for the LCR to not fit.

I've had a search and couldn't find any pictures of facelifts with the LCR on, so ignore my suggestion charlietdi95.

That's right , the one I have orders is specifically made for my car so should fit well hopefully .

@scotty dugg As promised, here are the pictures of the LCR fitted to my 07 S3, excuse the dirt!
