Lease Deals

Looks a very good deal. Has anybody managed to get it? I emailed and asked them to email me a quote for the same spec as what I have on order but they insist on speaking to me on the phone and don't seem to want to email me a quote. I was thinking I would cancel and swallow the loss of the £500 deposit if the saving on the deal I got was more than that. However the fact that they won't email a quote makes me suspicious and I'm not interested in talking to some salesman until I've got a quote.

Think they know that if they were to email you - potentially you could just hand it over to your local dealer, and get them to match it. . . Think they are trying to protect their business, which is fair enough.

I've looked through a huge selection and all seem to be great deals. So much so that they are tempting me out of my A6 Bitdi into something else right now......

Not quite ready for the change just yet, but I see a special Xmas present potentially coming up!

Be good to see if they are good on the prices I suppose - although a watch out for me seems to be the "discounted" options, as I think they are ex VAT - unlike when you select Personal lease for the inclusive VAT they don't change in the options price list.

May give them a buzz on Monday to chat through.

Finally got them to send a quote and they're a bit more expensive than the deal I got from my Audi dealer who did a very good deal anyway so I would have been very surprised (and miffed) if they had beaten them. Mine's currently in the Panel shop so should have it soon.

Hope you get you want for Christmas!

As with most leases, the advertised deal will be base spec (perhaps including metallic). Once you attack the options list it starts to mount up!

That said, S Line trim is pretty well specc'd anyway

That's why I went for the S Line. Originally I was getting the SE but when I compared it with everything I wanted added against the S Line that already has most of what I want, it worked out cheaper to go with the S Line.

I have found that the s line has all the toys I want. The all-in price for a A4 Avant is very good. An A3 sportback specced up to the same level is approaching the same price.

Tried them this afternoon, and yes you are right, advertised model, BUT the price they gave on the website is for a FIVE year lease and only 6,000 miles per year. They also added a £150 admin fee to the quote. I don't have the figures to hand but think I looked at a 190 TDI ultra avant with stronic, and the advertised quote (personal lease) shot up from £280 ish to around £380 ish for my 10k mileage. The deposit (6 payments upfront) also increased by £600 because it's obviously based on the starting lease price.

I asked about options and he said they would add them at the time of doing the deal, but ballpark was just add the cost up and divide by the amount of months of the lease (but ensure you add VAT onto their advertised prices, as system will only change the rental amount to include VAT, not the advertised options when you click 'personal lease').

Chap was nice though, not pushy, and had emailed me within seconds a few options.

Think Xmas pressie will have to wait a bit now!

Try whatcar.com they do a search on Audi dealers and you can usually get a better deal than with lease companies. They ask for your postcode and show the nearest dealer to you but you can find better deals from other dealers in the list.

Never seen a 5 year lease on anything, but admin fee's are becoming pretty standard. It's how the brokers make their profit these days. Delaers can wave them as they make money off the registration bonuses.
