Hi mate just wanted to add sometimes when I go in to reverse I the pedal goes really hard like I've lost servo assist could this be related to the problem cheers again mate

The PCV from the inlet manifold leads to the servo, the pipes split there, mine was when I removed the PCV system.

Did this cause the brakes and the pressure leak as well cheers paul

I didn't have that problem - but it is (was) quite an array of non-return valves etc. after the simplify it is now one pipe.

I was advised the leak wouldn't affect the boost pressure (as mine was assumed too high due to Android Torque readings. The assumption is if it is "coming from the dip stick" do they mean that area?

the dip stick had a crack in the tube so the smoke test found that perhaps i should go back and have another test done now the tubes done and see if it fetches anything else up read on the internet using your propane torch on low gas go over your hoses to see if you get a slight power surge and that might show you the rough area to start looking might give that a try tomorrow see if it fetches anything up Stuart
