Have you ever spotted/seen exactly the same A3/S3 as your own...??

l thought l had found my car's DOPPLEGANGER....but fortunately not...lol this one...doesnt have the Pano-roof...but it has keyless entry,apart from this its identical,l know my colour scheme/options is a tad esoteric in its taste....but av searched endlessly and still have not seen a identical optioned car.....have you found/seen a A3/S3 the same as yours...???

Still not seen another 3rd Floret Silver in SE, Sport or S-line. I know a few on here have Floret but in S3 and RS3 guise. Glad it's not common on the roads. :racer:

I'll get you a pic on Monday, as there's always a 3-door S-Line in Floret Silver parked at my work!

Those seats are a bit erm ....... , Not seen another like mine on the road unlike my Golf R before it !

Sure have, only because mine is one of a handful of launch cars ie 63 plate Misano red saloon, alcantara, sunroof, adaptive lights, multi-spoke alloys, comfort pack. One of the cars reg was 1 x letter different to mine.
Good job I'm a good boy and the wife doesn't think I'm dipping it elsewhere ! :blink:

I have only seen an S line saloon in white(learner driver car) where I live never seen an S3 saloon at all...I think :blink:

Plenty of sport backs though.. :yes:

Here in Sweden I rarely see an A3 Saloon at all and I´ve never seen one the same as mine.

There is another A3 S-line same colour and Reg apart from the last 3 digits as mine in Harrogate. When I see it on the road I always think that's my car, then I realise that I'm driving it

In fact on the day I swapped S3's there was a third identical S3 (Sepang and no roof rails) on the dealers forecourt.

Good thing I'm on the other side of the world - certainly haven't seen another twin here in almost 2 years - only 1 A3 floret and an S3, but with different rims, red calipers, sport seats and pano roof and roof rails ---

Over here in Hong Kong, pretty much all S3 have the same spec, and only a handful of option available, and Sepang was one of the more popular color so yeah, I've seen at least 3 or 4 exact doppelgänger of mine except i have factory 19"...

I can do better than that, there's one parked on my drive.

Obviously I didn't just take that photo, as it is dark right now, but that was the last time it was clean. About May, if I remember correctly.

I've only seen one other with the (not) panoramic roof and it was a white more door, of which there are bleedin' loads of rand 'ere!

Seen a couple of Daytona S3 S/B in passing that look very similar but on closer inspection they're either missing the pano roof or LED headlamps.

Of course that's not including any of my mods - that'd practically make it impossible to have a twin

Just the factory fitted options or Oem one's please, no iffy ones,lol to be honest l have seen a almost identical car to me my own, the only difference was alcantara and it had basic nav

Never seen exactly the same as 3 drs are no longer in favour compared to the earlier incarnations of A3 & Monsoon Grey is hardly an appealing name when speccing paintwork,TBH they could've called in 'english summers day' & had the same negative effect rofl !. & it's the only car I've seen with Velum upgrade alloys, obviously a very marmite spec car!.

I've seen my Doppelganger A4 around which even has the windows tinted which was NOT an option for the A4 saloon. The only difference is that they have black exhaust tips and not the chrome ones as I do.

Not too long after I picked mine up I had another black A3 follow me for a while. Took me a while to realise that it was also an S-Line and then saw they had also gone for the BSP! Was a 65 plate too so must have been a few weeks old at the time too! Ended up following me down the A249 then when we got on the M20 we ended up allowing each other to overtake both went into Maidstone before going our separate ways, I flashed my lights and he put his thumb up! Not seen them since but they are from Sittingbourne where I live

I know for a fact mine has a doppelgänger as the Dealer revised thier demo car to my spec as that had an earlier build slot than mine. They were then gonna use mine as a demo. Both cars turned up at the same in the end and they sold the demo on immediately but down South apparently, so at least it's not in the same area as mine

A while ago there was a thread where you had to suggest situations to photograph your A3/S3. I suggested next to an identical model. I found one identical to mine but it was parked outside a cottage down a quiet lane and I never had the nerve to pull up alongside and snap the two together.

I tried looking on AT, but there was only a boggo spec S Line or a Sport that had a non panoramic roof in silver. I think there were only about 5 three door ones in Floret on there with a petrol motor.
