Hi Guys,

I am looking to install electric seats into my A4 (RS4 Seats) . Which does not have the electric seat module installed under the drivers seat / passenger seat. (currently have yellow and black boxes installed) ( Seats have yellow / black / red / green) Assuming the green is heated option.

I was wondering if there was any way to install the seats and wire them up?

I have come across: Seat Adjustment Harness on Kufatec and read that this can be installed in the fuse box on the drivers side and then routed and installed which would work.

Was hoping if someone could help confirm this is the case?

Thanks in advance.

Shane

You can buy a loom from Kufatec, with or without the heated seat (green plug) option.

You run this from the convenience module (under drivers side dash in a RHD car) under the carpet to each of the seats. They also need power which you can get from the fuse box near the convenience module

If you want the heated seats to work you may need to upgrade your convenience module and climatronic panel - these have component protection that can only be removed by main dealers

Thanks for the information mate, really appreciate it.

Yeah as above, just beware of the kufa looms as they're generally LHD based & sometimes pinned wrong.

Thanks NHN , much appreciated. Should I be majorly worried about the Kufa looms ? Is there possibly an alternative source?

So you're telling me that as long as I have seat heating in my B8, any leather seats on ebay that have a green connector will be fine? 'Cause it seems impossible to find a seller that mentions if they have or don't have seat heating.
