Had the tracking done on my Avant yesterday after letting the coilovers settle & the rear of the car is perfect but the front camber is out which you can see on the pic. Apart from fitting adjustable top arms which are about £400 plus fitting & the alignment redone so £600ish all done. My question is are there any alternatives to this ?

Better coilovers than FK with adjustable camber and damping !

The front camber readings are not very balanced. Is something bent on one side as there is nearly 0.75 degrees difference.
You can balance the sides up by undoing the subframe bolts and realigning it. However this will still leave you with around 2 degrees camber either side. Really the cheapest way of resolving the issue is raising the ride height, I am assuming you don't want to do that so the adjustable top arms are possibly the best bet.
The shocks Gaz pictured above are these I believe, They have a little * saying that not all features are available on all models.
I am pretty sure that you couldn't fit that kind of camber adjustable shock on a B8, Indeed the picture on the link below are definately not B8 shocks.

@desertstorm after having the alignment done I went back to the garage who fitted the coilovers who are a VAG specialist. I said is there much that can be done other than adjustable top arms & he did mention moving the subframe but not sure what to do yet as we only do about 5000 miles & year I think I'll keep an eye on tyre wear & see how it goes.

I only do small annual mileage using my S4, but the point is, if your car is not running true, then it will not be very nice to drive, so you end up spending money on a quality car, then add some bits on to it supposedly to improve it - and end up with something that could behave a lot better, just does not make sense to me.

Eibach do adjustable arms.

I've got 034 adjustable arms, I wouldn't recommend them though unless whoever is doing your alignment has bags of patience. The way they're designed makes them an absolute pig to adjust

If I'm honest I'm just going to get the subframe adjusted & monitor tyre wear. The car drives so much better than it did on stock suspension & it doesn't get driven daily.

I have a contact at Eibach if you would like me to enquire.
