I'm looking into getting a downpipe with sports cat on my s3, probably 200 cell. I've heard sports cats struggle to pass mots after a while, is there anyone that's been running a sports cat for a long period, or ran into this issue? Cheers
And a dodgey mot is not an option lol

I've been running a 100 cell cat for over 4 years (and 50k miles) now with no issues at MOT time other than they have to warm it up for quite a while but then it sails through.

Which brand of sports cat do you have mate?

MV Sport - no longer made though. But the Milltek one will be fine - i think they're all 200 cell these days.

We ran the Milltek sports cat on mine for around 30k miles with no problems.

If you're running a remapped car, things like WOT shift and ALS are death to cats.
