Pre Sense Query

I have ordered ACC which I understand includes pre sense front, but it appears pre sense basic (which appears to be as it says the most basic element of the system) is a standalone option and not therefore included as part of pre sense front. I say that because both versions are shown as being £200 separate options. Is this correct as I would have thought that pre sense basic would have been included as part of pre sense front? Is it also true that with ACC that you get the red speedo led light sweep (not the needle sweep) on start up - I have ordered the 1.4 COD in case it is a model specific led sweep!

I have ACC on my 2013 S3 and mine has the red led sweep as the needle sweeps on start up (looks nice).

I too wish I knew what "sense" my car has - front/basic etc as I don't seem to know or how to find out. Maybe a call to Audi or just not brake into a car in front (maybe not lol).

The ACC is awesome, I love it. Not only is it great on the daily commute etc but it is excellent in stop/start/queued traffic. I have stronic (not sure what you have ordered) but it just crawls along behind the car in front, then stops when they do and then the engine powers off. It powers back up as soon as the car in front starts to move and a gentle tap on the accelerator pedal or a nudge on the cruise control stalk and off it goes following the car in front. Makes sitting in stop start traffic much easier

ACC is great, all I need now is a VCDS mod that lets me extend the time before it cuts off when stationary, 4 seconds is a bit too short.
