Return with my Silver TQS

Adapter washers? As an alternative to the adapter plate?

Sent from my Dog and Bone

A little but the mounting points are mostly the same, but they hold the housing/manifold on an angle on the tfsi and they are straight out of the 20vt head.

I really need to look properly. The late Daves adapter utilised most of the 1.8t suds through the adapter bingbong using angled washers

Nothing really to update anyway guys, just been saving up really
Change the coolant bottle
And changed to PRK6Q's yesterday over changed to a thicker oil as Aragorn suggested

In regard to my future ko4-064 build, has anyone got any ideas how my TIP would work? And would a B7 ko3 test pipe fit the ko4?

Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

TIP will be custom. You might be able to use a B7 one, i've not looked too closely. TDI or PD130 airbox is worth a look too, the MAF sits at a better angle for sorting custom pipework.

And no, the B7 downpipe doesnt fit the K04, the flange is different.

Yeah confirmed, s3 flange weld, custom downpipe

In regard to my boost gauge install
I got a stepper motor but the wires running to the actual gauge come in 4

Can I run the power off the illuminated vents feed?

So the orange white and white are from the live

think on mine i ran the 12v battery to a permanant live at the relay box under the steering wheel, then the ignition live i just ran to the dash vent lights mine only had 3 wires iirc it may off had 4 and i spliced 2 cant really remember, so it will come on with ignition then the needle comes on with the dash lights.

With yours id maybe try testing it out on a bench with a battery and see what each feed does with the gauge then splice them to your preference.

Yeah I think I'm gonna have to, how did you get access to the relay box aswell cause I'm gonna use a volt meter to determine where I can get a ignition live

Remove the knee bolster under the steering wheel to access the relay box, theres also stud terminals that are easy to run your wires off with a eyelet terminal.

Is 11psi normal for a chipped TQS?

Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

11 psi is normal for a stock TQS id expect around 18-20psi on a chipped TQS.

Whos mapped it ??

I'm not sure there wasn't any paperwork for it, but when I had the ecu apart it had "Turbo" on some mount, it boosts to around 15ish psi then slowly dies

Tried the 312 front brake upgrade today, B6 3.0 came in today and conveniently enough needed front disc and pads, so test fitted on my 235 45 18 wheel and the clearance is literally mm

Right is anyone here a body person cause I see a bolt hole and it goes in, I've had the reae off to test fit about 20times now and there's always a gap between the OS and I can't match them up, is it through supports that go into the boot that need adjusting?

well the gap under the light seems the same on both sides? How is the gap at the sides?

If its just the bootlid then its probably that which needs adjusted?

With the boot open

Try adjusting the bump stops of the boot maybe on the n/s to bring the boot in-line bumper looks flush to me, boot looks lower on the n/s
