Should the UK stay in the EU?

An excellent result and a fantastic opportunity for the British people from wherever to demonstrate 'again' their inner resolve and positively overcome the nay-sayers once and for all; important for everyone to work together with ALL nations of this World for the betterment of everyone and nut just them Brussels, or is it Strasburg this week, bureaucrats...
Over the years foreign companies have come to the UK to utilise the resources of the British people and that includes 'our' positive attitudes to problem solving; having worked in numerous other countries around the World I've been able to experience this at first hand.
And I hope Cameron stays in Government as I think him the best Prime Minister we've had for many a year...
And YES WE bl**dy CAN!!!!

I personally disagree, however a democratic vote has been cast, and as such its the will of the U.K. citizens to leave the EU.

Ex EU president Prodi has just been interviewed by sky live and said that things will go on as normal as its not in the EUs best interest to cut ties or inflict levy's on trade. It was interesting that he said the biggest loss to EU was British Army and their counter intelligence capabilities. Says it all really.

They had plenty of time to warm up the UK on the benefits of the EU and or the UK to the EU, didn't take that opportunity and instead chose to try and scare the voters in to it. Quite barmy imho and has clearly backfired on them.

Nothing or little is gonna change other than a big call for referendum in other EU states (Holland first of the many I'll bet) and when that thought sinks into the arrogant heads of the EU bureaucrats I suspect there'll be bigger changes to the EU bureaucracy than anything we're going to be seeing here.
Chance for ALL we-can-do Brits to get on with it; decision now made, get on with it...
Because the price Audi UK pay Audi AG for the cars that they sell in this country is based on the £ to Euro exchange rate. That has already gone down by 10% since the referendum result was reduced. It may well change up or down but that may well give Audi UK the excess to increase the prices if it wants to.Not at all, why should it... And we have three of 'em...

Audi won't increase prices if they want to sell cars here in the UK, period.
And here's why: yet another Audi invite arrived today to attend a country mansion with food and goodies laid on to experience Audi cars, any Audi cars, and that's gonna cost £££££s.
And I've been having these for the past 5-years.
Now, I've a friend in Nuremberg who travels regularly to Ingolstadt to visit, yep, you've guessed it, Audi GmbH; and he's an Audi owner; and not once even ever has he and/or his friends had such an invitation...
Audi spends mega money here in the UK to get us to buy their cars...
Ya think that's gonna change anytime soon...

I think the UK needs to settle down and work on the way ahead, together.
Nicola Sturgeon, (Wee Nippy, as some Scots call her), would almost certainly fail miserably if she chose to call another referendum. There are many SNP commentators who do not like the idea of a Scotland in the EU, nor do they want the Pound replaced by the Euro.
All the political personalities are creatures of self promotion and if they don't get the picture, that Joe Public is sick and tired of their nonsense, then they never will.
I have no fear of the future, it will still be ahead of us all, despite, or because of the referendum vote.
It's time to make politics more civilised and the United Kingdom great again.

Pretty much everything that was shot to sh1t this morning is back to what it was before yesterday. Panic over lets get on with life.
France, Sweden, Denmark, Italy and Greece have made their feelings known they want a refurendum ASAP. France had said the Immigration Treaty will stay intact, and GERMANY announce all trade will stay as is! That means our AUDI's will stay the same prices!!! Panic over. Sweaty brow gone!

The euro is about 3 cents down compared to other days and the FTSE100 ended higher today than what it did at the start of the week. The amount of spin the media is putting on it is unreal.

The media is nothing without a perceived crisis that they can inflate out of all proportions.
(And a willing audience to believe their hype).
They have just increased the prices on the like for like new face lifted A3 so to say they will not increase their prices is not quite correct. They will increase prices if they feel they can get away with it related to the competition. As you say Audi spends mega-money in the UK and that money has to come from somewhere. If they are having to pay more to Audi AG for the cars in the first place then they are quite likely to increase the prices as they do already several times a year.Audi won't increase prices if they want to sell cars here in the UK, period.

It's all fact now, we will be leaving the EU within a couple of years, so what we think will happen is no longer of any value. What ever will happen will happen and we will have to make the best of it.

Any FL/new car comes with price increases. That's ludicrous to think otherwise and link the FL increase to any of this debate.

So, the morning after we say Au revoir to the EU and that same sun's radiating the same heat and drying the remnants of an early morning shower; not much has changed as yet and it sure feels good.
Interestingly in my area, Cannock Chase, the 'leave majority', was 37.82%, wow!

And I see that everything has returned to normally after all the blown out of proportion hype. Mate sent me this message last night.
The Prime Minister resigned. The £ plummeted. The FTSE 100 lost significant ground. But then the £ rallied past February levels, and the FTSE closed on a weekly high: 2.4% up on last Friday, its best performance in 4 months. President Obama decided we wouldn't be at the 'back of the queue' after all and that our 'special relationship' was still strong. The French President confirmed the Le Touquet Calais border agreement would stay in place. The President of the European Commission stated Brexit negations would be 'orderly' and stressed the UK would continue to be a 'close partner' of the EU. Morgan Stanley denied reports it would shift 2,000 staff overseas (at it had said before the vote). The CBI, vehemently anti-Brexit during the referendum campaign, stated British business was resilient and would adapt. Several countries outside the EU stated they wished to begin bi-lateral trade talks with the UK immediately. If this was the predicted apocalypse, it was a very British one. It was all over by teatime. Not a bad first day of freedom.

Nah, media knee jerk reaction to flog some rags for the next fortnight.
We're going to be fine and probably, even better than we hoped for.
Whats most important to me is my family the roof over my head and food on the table oh and my three cars. These things and smaller things like bills,beer and a curry now and again i will work my *** off to pay for whatever the government is and who it is. The rich will always be rich and always need people to make them money and thats where we come in to it, just do the best you can.

Yes John, we have. That was a minority I am happy being in. Wee Nippy doesn't represent all of us, but she seems to think all of Scotland is behind her twitterings, not so here, and from what I see, some of her hardened supporters do not want to take the EU path. (Especially with ideas of replacing the Pound with the Euro).
She will orchestrate her own downfall, just give her time.
No mandate, no majority = no legitimate reasoning for a second referendum.

I was talking to a neighbour yesterday who couldn't believe I voted out and no to independence two years ago. I gave her some home truths and she went away to do some research!
I can't believe that anyone who works in the public sector in Scotland would vote for independence? It astounds me. I'm guessing they don't think much about their pensions or kids growing up in a wasteland with no jobs and no money. 5000 less teachers and near on the same number of GPs less since 2007/8! Total joke!
How glad am I she didn't get a majority. Tide is turning slowly and out of those 1.1 million on Thursday I'm guessing quite a few were SNP supports. Switch one "controlling power" where Scotland has 56 MPs to bargain and battle for us to 10,000 unelected pen pushers who earn more than David Cameron, well 3000 of them do and the rest earn much more than most public sector heads in Britain. Utter Bo11ocks!
