Buying A New FL S3 Saloon - Thinking Of Using A Broker?

Just completed my Car Wow requested. First offer has come back with 7.4% discount, with no dealer contribution to the finance

Went for STronic Saloon - Daytona Grey -
Storage and luggage pack - A3/RS3.£175
Fine Nappa leather + super sport seats.£650
Bang + Olufsen advanced sound system.£495
Audi parking system plus.£700
Folding door mirrors.£200
Panoramic glass sunroof.£1075

lease is ending on Golf R in October, so looking to get something sorted

You need to add interior light package for the Panoramic glass sunroof

I have the pano-roof with no interior light pack
Don't say that! I don't wanna have wasted money for opting them as I wouldn't have if I didn't need them. I'm sure I was told I needed it for panoramic sunroof. Salesman bulls*it maybe

Audi aren't offering any dealer contribution on the A3 saloons, but Drive the Deal are currently offering 12% discount. Not sure what other brokers are offering (Orangewheels don't list S3 saloon at present).

Not sure which is the current DtD supplying dealer (it was Crawley when we got our A6 three years ago).

With no dealer contribution I wonder if it's worth looking at other finance companies that would offer PCP deals possibly at a lower APR (Audi offering 5.6%)? Any one have any thoughts on this?

Used drive the deal for last two purchases.. Faultless service on both occasions, highly recommended from me... I have never got a local dealer to price match though, or even come close tbh, North West area.

I got my price from Carwow, took it to Cheshire Oaks Audi (between Liverpool-Chester) and they came in around £170 more. So for that price I wasn't going to Coventry :)

Win win, nice one. I tried but failed, ended up ordering through DTD and got a dealer down south - 13/14% discount so worth the trek for sure

Yeah, I told them that I wasn't scared to travel...after a few phone calls they came back with a good deal. Did you also have an Audi px? If so did they give you a decent price? I've had a couple of quotes and they say that they all use the same price index!

Is this on the Saloon or Sportback or Hatchback?

Pretty good, I tried but as I said earlier no one wanted to come close or match the offer.. I don't have an Audi PX, I do have a PX though which is a 2014 VW Polo. I have been given a decent price for it on the whole but the Carwow dealer with the best offer, offered me almost as low as WeBuyAnyCar... Probably to claw back some of the discount which was pretty good tbh, around 10/11% I think..

I was all set to order a new s3, but the lease deals for them are really cheap at the moment! I've just signed up for a 2 year lease on a new s3 stronic, it's a lot cheaper than any discount you can get!

Private lease, no options other than navarra Blue, pretty happy with the standard spec for the money. £269 per month inc vat with £2450 deposit over 2 years 8000 miles.

That's very good!
3 door, sportback or saloon?
Which leasing company?

How does leasing work aposed to PCP? Can you still add options? What happens at the end of the term?

You just pay a deposit which is usually 3/6/9 monthly payments up front, then pay your monthly payments for the length of your lease(usually 2 yesrs). You can add options but it isn't really worth it as you pay for the options fully in your lease. So if you add tech pack at £1400 you would have to pay an extra £50 odd per month.

Then at the end you just give the car back. The end

It is the cheapest way into a S3,a non optioned S3 is a pretty basic place to drive in,pcp is better over a longer period of time, personal lease better short term
Yep 4 months ago I was set to get an A3 Sportback 1.4 COD S Line with very few options on a PCH. Fast forward and I'm getting a fully loaded FL S3 on PCP! The man math is strong in this one lol

4 years PCP so at least 3 1/2 before going for something else unless a mysterious suitcase full of ££ land on my door step lol
Having said that I know I stand to lose money... This is how it is with the motor trade and I'm well aware I could drive my **** around for a lot less money every month but we all need some **** it moments lol

Having said that I'm on the fence with regards to: Magnetic ride, 19" wheels, Virtual Cockpit, SSS... That's potentially £2,900 saved right there... They all work towards making the car nicer, better to drive(?) and maybe more attractive for the resale value but without them the car still remains a cracking car!
Mmmm tough call.

The 'Reversible Mat' in the sig made me smile :)

Nothing wrong with it, but I didn't expect it along with 'Bang & Olufsen Sound System, Audi Parking System Plus, Extended Interior Upholstery Pack' etc. :)

Pano-roof rather than SS seats pano-roof more desirable come resale, magride might,19" won't,virtual cockpit definitely won't

It did make me smile when I wrote it! Could be easily replaced by an old blanket lol

Pano roof I decided against. Magride, well, it's either Magride + 19" or standard +18", VC + retractable screen looks like too much flashy stuff.
