Anyone know where I can buy some? I bought some S4 door blades to replace my S-line ones and there were a few screws missing. I want to sell my door blades so I might as well get some new screws for the new blades.

Sure audi has them cheap..
I know they not the same. But I once needed screws for rear view mirrors and they got them for me for next day

I'll try the the next day the dealer is open. I can't seem to poke any out on ebay. I usually just assume Audi will want to bend me over a barrel for them, especially since its door blade related.

You see that's the perception by some forum members :) when in reality its not the case, look at it like this, lets say you're screw's are £2 in total, would you drive from the depot in birmingham to say a dealership let's say in Scotland for £2, plus all parts generally are shipped yes in bulk from Germany, so that's another logistical cost, just a POV mate :)

Most things I've gone to dealers for have ended up being crazy expensive. A timing belt kit for my B5 S4 was rounding out to about 450, when a non-main dealer quoted me 270 for the same brand parts (other than the timing and fan belt being Gate Racing instead of whatever Audi supply). The brake pads were also considerably more expensive, but not wasn't a surprise. The only thing that has been surprisingly cheap was the little retaining clips for the floor of my B6 that the floor mats clip onto.

Don't get me started on the headlight ballasts though. Audi wanted something like 400-500 for one and I got the same one for 100 from another car brand dealer. Its just a generic Valeo ballast.

That said, I usually don't order little things that are used on a broad range of models. Most of what I usually find myself looking for from dealers is usually model specific and not really done in bulk so its bound to be a bit pricey. We just don't really have many S4s, or S models in general, over here in Ireland so not many people go to dealers looking for parts for them. Most of the parts have to be ordered in specially.

When one of my side blades fell down I used bigger self tapping screws and also drilled an extra one in the middle just to make sure.

I bought a couple for mine, can't remember the price/part number but don't' remember being shocked at the price.. it was pence I'm sure.
I'll have a look when I get home if I remember, I got the receipt hanging around no doubt.

Amazed I remembered. I've got the details of the screws whether you want it or not (trying to be helpful)
Door blade screw -
Part number - N 104 596 02
41p +vat each (price as of July 2014)

so might have gone up a bit I guess.

Mine were about 10 quid in Euros for 20 of them. I was surprised at some other parts too. S4 B6 lower grill was 170 (about 80 less than I expected) and the foglight grilles for a GmbH B6 bumper were only about 37 quid each. That said, a B7 RS4 steering wheel and airbag are just mental money. Probably because they are RS parts. Some parts are crazy cheap, others are crazy expensive.
