I have read in the manual that the largest cards that can be used in the RNS-e is 256MB.Is this still the case as theyre getting harder to find. I would like to use a 1GB one. Is this possible, failing that install an ipod interface and use that for my music. Do i need to remove the 6disc changer to wire it all up or can i leave it in. And which is the best interface to buy. I've seen the Xcarlink ones for around £70. Are these any good?

MK1 RNS-E takes SD cards upto 4GB, no 256MB as the manuals suggest. But they must be SD cards and not SDHC.

There is also a limit of 512 tracks/folders per card. It has been discussed many many times over the years.

A search would probably have found it.

The MK2 RNS-E from 2010 onwards can take 32GB SDHC cards.

i can vouch the mk-2 doe
