Just curious what the white stuff is on my exhaust? There isn't much of it, Almost like powder. Am on a 99 octane remap and my friend put 5 quid of 95 into it the other day by mistake. Could it be that or something worse? Thanks.

IN your exhaust or ON your exhaust?

If the former, it is usually the sign of a well running engine and usually appears after a long run

Around the outside not in :D

It will probably be just dry residue from condensation. $500 of 95 should'nt change anything.

Well while were on the subject of 95 and 99 octane I had a question.

I requested a 99 octane remap from revo and got it. However, Will there be any harm putting 95 octane into a 99 octane remap or will the ECU just adjust to the lower octane anyway?

Abit like how the audi can take both 95 and 97 as stated on the fuel cap?

You will get get a lot of pinking if its pure 95ron in the tank, not so bad if you half an half. But then top up again with 98/99ron when empty.
