"Passenger air bag is off" light query

Hi,

My other half recognised that when I turned the car on initially today the "passenger air bag is off" button near the drive select and parking sensors strip lit up for a second or two and went out. She said you must get that fixed. Now I've looked in the glove box and it's set to on. Is it the case that this light will come on an off when the car is turned on? If I had an issue with a airbag wouldn't I get an error ECU airbag light appearing on my speedo?

thats normal, the light comes on and goes off its just a check to see if the lights working. When you turn it off youll have a light appear on your dash
