Hi guys as above really, just a quick question about the pcv.
I have read conflicting reports on how to check it is functioning correctly.
Am i right in thinking that if you remove the dip stick whilst the engine is running and it runs like s**t then the pcv is operating properly? Or does this mean the part is failing?

nope not the dipstick chap, its the oil filler cap.
if you cant remove it when the engine is running then it may be time to replace or upgrade the pcv .
it should undo with only a small amount of pressure required, if you really need to force it then its past it best by date.

So basicly there should be no vacuum then?
Unfortunatly my oil filler cap is ridiculously tight without the engine running, so i doubt i could tell the difference. But then saying that, maybee there is a problem then.
When i pulled the dipstick with the engine running the car nearly stalled, that was pressurised too and you could hear it sucking.
