Today we dyno'd our Golf 7 TTE525R with MTR software. This time on Provoteck dynostar to give another independent result.
Spool is a little later on this new lower boost tune(1.6-1.85bar) to results previously shared. But still we are making 500nm at approx 3400rpm and see peak power of 500+PS & 600+nm.

I'm guessing this isn't a straight swap for standard turbo and requires some custom fabrication to fit?

Do you plan on making a full bolt on kit with this turbo or similar in the future that will surpass the TTE525R?
G7R TTE600R was back at MRC Tuning for a map tweak tonight and see 624PS 686nm and set a new world record 100-200 time on the way home at less boost..

For all the Journal bearing haters....
I've seen many videos comparing ballbearing vs journal but never pressured with oil as would be in your engine bay, so never a fair comparison and always aimed to show journal type in a negative way.
Bellow shows how a precision balanced TTE journal bearing turbo spins on warm oil....!!

So yesterday David Lee in his G7R TTE600R MRC go's to Santa pod Raceway and sets a new World Record time for the Mk7 R platform making a 10.5 second 1/4 mile pass at 130mph on his first attempt. On the next following attempt at a higher boost setting the Stock engine finally said NO yet still did a 10.8 ! 
Next for David is to drop in his built motor and really push on !

High of the weekend was RS6 TTE800 with MRC software won fastest Audi both days with a 10.6 1/4mile
Low was we ran our car and blew our Golf R TTE525R motor (turbo perfect) but managed a 11.7 consistently no matter what we tried. We did find a issue Friday night but we still raced hoping might still run ok. Looking back on reflection we did not beat our customers G7 R TTE470 that won the same event last year with a 11.2 1/4 mile ! (would of won this year too) But anyways this year we was ONLY beat by .2 sec on both days by other 500 MQB cars with other manufacturers turbos on so not so bad.... We think did win fastest golf class on Sunday again with a 11.7
