Hi

For those with their B9's already, can you confirm that they come with a warning triangle and first aid kit? The standard spec in the brochure says that they do.

Where is this stored in the boot?

First aid kit is listed in the accessories on the configurator, so I assume that's an extra. Can't find anything in the manual about where the triangle is (but the version I have is for the US model so they might not provide one there). Not that much help, sorry!

My sport trim A4 avant has both a warning triangle (housed in a little compartment in the boot hatch) and a first aid kit which is in a side compartment in the boot area. I didn't knowingly choose any specific option that supplied these.

Excellent. Thanks

Another question (but not worth starting a new thread)... Do all B9s come as standard with front and rear carpet floor mats? If so, are these plain or 'branded'? I have ordered an S-Line. Thanks

You need to order them (or ask for them to be thrown in for free). Carpet mats I got are plain black and unbranded.

Hmm, damn. I have successfully asked for rubber front mats to be thrown in for free, but I assumed carpet ones came as standard :-(

According to the specs listed here http://m.audi.co.uk/new-cars/a4/a4-saloon.html all model versions come with front and rear floormats...

Excellent, thanks @cuke2u! That's good news. Asking for mats to be chucked in for free used to be a standard thing when buying a new car, but these days I would expect all new cars to come with them! Having said that, my mother-in-law recently collected her new VW Golf Match Edition, and it had no mats. It did have the fitting studs in the carpet though, so looked odd on collection day! VW dealer said you have to buy them... which I think is very stingy!

No problem, they are velour mats as I just configured my car and they were again listed as standard...

All the standard mats I have seen in brand new pre-handover B9's are rubber and are also depicted in the brochures and promotional material.

Audi don't do branded car mats (as in S line). These are aftermarket non genuine ones. There are some good ones out here though!

Rubber mats supplied in Ireland have a large "A4" in the moulding.....same for the boot protector I think.

They can be bought separately but mine are coming as part of a Protection pack which includes a clear plastic film for the bumper .....below the boot lid, 4 X mud flaps.....and a branded umbrella. Cost €320....thrown in free after some negotiating.

Maybe that's why it was so easy for them to agree to me asking for them to be thrown in for free! lol. In any case I have them and they look good. When are you expecting to take delivery?

I am not, eastbourne audi messed up and quoted me mickey mouse figures for my a3 then refused to discount an a4 at all and quoted silly monthly figures. I could have gone to coventry audi but the whole saga left a nasty taste, however I did get a personal apology from the head of sales and a promise of a 12% discount on my next purchase but now I can't work out if I want the a4, a a3 facelift or the q2. Even a ford mondeo is creeping into my list if I don't want to spend much, apologies for the 'f' word....

I had some A4 branded mats in the car when I picked it up, didn't have to spec or haggle for them. They also threw in some rubber winter mats and a rubber boot liner (Avant)

Hi iambu, i also found 4 high vis bibs in the back. On the avant they were stashed in the left hand lining where the fuses are !
Nice little touch - hope i'll never need them.

Thanks @thisistheone. I shall see if I have those too when I collect mine!
