Anyone know what the latest version is please and if it worth updating mine or not ? Photo below

Currently have 2012 euro maps on an SD card will this be affects if I choose to update

I think it's a separate issue, I'm looking to update the firmware from a reliable source??? But the mapping is done/ coded to your car only, far as I'm aware AND costs mega money

No one has broken/cracked the RMC system, it is dealer only upgrades.

I've found an update to K15028 with full instructions on drive2.ru which is an EU update without the maps so no activation required. The download looks ok tho.

I've not been brave enough to try it yet and it will cause an SVM error code until you can enter the RMC014 SVM code at a stealer via VAS/ODIS with an online GeKo connection.

I guess the question is do you have any issues with your current firmware, if so then it could be worth the risk if not then I would leave it alone.

There's nothing wrong with mine at the moment other that the occasional KM instead of miles but not sure it's worth the risk of bricking the unit.

I tried to get Audi to flash it when it was last in but they point blank refused unless there was a problem. Unfortunately on the test route they did, it ran fine and didn't do KM once, typical!!
