Yea I think I might be able to take them down a bit. I am hoping I can get them down to like a 3k deposit and £650 - £700 a month loaded with my extra's,

I would love the RS3 in Nardo but if an M4 was availbale at the same price i honestly believe it's a bit more of a car. I understand where you are coming from with the winter months. Four wheel drive makes the bad weather good weather!

If they made a Nardo M4 i would be in heaven but i still love that M4 Blue!

It all comes down to money, i'm not loaded and it is so difficult to get a good deal on the RS3!

Thanks

Does anyone know what model year the RS3 is at the moment? I'm guessing it's MY16 and the facelift will be MY17?
Or will the facelift go to MY18?

Off topic a bit, but how do you update yr profile page with the Sepang blue banners etc?

If you go for an M3/ M4 go for the competition pack the first among alI the options, I have had my M3 for almost 2 years and it is a great car but on poorish roads or in cold weather it can bite unless care is taken.

Reports indicate that the comp pack is much better. Also the Pilot Super Sports in my experience prefer nice warm Tarmac.

Haha, come on. What you doing to me???

So you have had the RS3 and you have not got the M4? What do you think of both, honest opinion?

The competition pack is ok but i don't like the 20 inch wheels, i prefer te black M4 ones!

Yes I changed the rs3 for an m4. It depends what you want from a car mate. The rs3 was great and done everything that was asked of it. It sounded awesome and looked great while doing it. It's a very capable bit of kit and I think that's what best described it. Very easy to get in drive fast where as the m4 is a bit unruly so you have work a bit harder to get the best out of it. It can be quite unruly at times due to all that torque going to the back wheels but I sort of enjoy that keeping you on your toes feeling. The front end grip is phenomenal and I guarantee you will back off before the car does . The rs3 sounds better ( don't think there's anything new under £100k that makes a better noise IMO). The m4 does sound good too but not as good as the the rs3. But on a nice day when the tyres are warm the m4 really is in a world of its own. It won't throw you in a hedge in the wet like a lot of people state but a lot more care has to be taken than the rs3 which is just fast in all weather. I think the m4 looks better too but that's my opinion, I did really like the look of my rs3 though. I just think the m4 is one of the best looking cars on the road at the moment.

Basically bud, you can't go wrong with either and it just depends what you want from a car as they are both great in their own way. Attached a pic of the rs3 for you.

Also not a fan of comp pack wheels, crap design and the 20s make the car look overwheeled!

I was never sure about colour choice. I'd originally thought of nardo, then nearly got a Cat Red. Then I saw a Sepang and it just made up my mind there and then. Really striking in different light and goes with the black pack or aluminium.

I went along to a dealer today who had a Nardo grey RS3 in. I've got mine on order but hadn't actually seen a Nardo in the flesh. All I can say is WOW! Definitely the right choice of colour for me. Like most colours, pics don't do it any justice.

I'd recommend to anyone thinking of getting one to try their best to see each colour in person.

I honestly don't understand the love for it. I think it looks *awful*. Perhaps the blandest washed out colour you could every come up with. It looks like primer and the car's waiting to be painted.

Loving the sepang & nardo appreciation :sunglasses:

But everyone overlooks floret lol ......

so how do you update your profile to add Sepang and rs3 etc?

I think it's somewhere in settings mate or your control panel .... possibly under 'user groups' I think.

In your account settings there is a section near the bottom of the list with all banners etc. Have to be in a non mobile site to see it tho..not on tapatalk either.

Both look great.

Blue looks purposeful & sporty though whereas the grey looks more like a regular business class Bimmer IMO.

Blue defo the best choice :sunglasses:

Lol I thought it was an M4 till you said that mate :relaxed:

Oh yeah now I can tell, looking more closely.

The grey does nothing for it though IMO.
Defo needs to be a vibrant colour like blue or white would look good too.

Now I look closer lol ...

The M4 looks a lot sleeker whereas the M2 because it's shorter looks a bit more bulbous on the roof line ... Looks nice but in guessing the interior will be a bit more restrictive on the M2.

How is the M4 for rear leg room ?
I found my S5 was ok for kids or teens but you had to push the seats forward for adults in the rear.

I test drove the M3 today as they didn't have the 4 to test. No comparison in my eyes, i wanted the RS3 until i jumped in the BM, I like White or the Blue but also this Cahmpagne Quartz colour that changes in the light!
The deals are also better with BM, the competition pack included with a lot of extra's will potentially be £750 a month with £5 deposit.

I'll take that!

M3, M4, RS3 .... you won't go wrong with any tbh !

Seen a picture of the M2 in mineral grey with mperformance carbon bits on and it looked amazing. Theres no carbon roof on M2 so you don't need the light colour to contrast it.I would pick that colour for it.
